I’ve been attending rodeos/Stampede for most of my life and without a doubt you will not find a better rodeo/wagon race or bang for your buck experience than the STRATHMORE Stampede!Great people, food, amenities-free parking and totally accessible for all ages. If you have questions or concerns there are always AG personal available to address them and find a quick resolution!Need a ride from your vehicle to the grounds-no problem-frequent pickups from friendly volunteers on golf carts to the guy pulling the wagon for a jump on jump off ride.No better rodeo/participants/volunteers/food or value at any other Rodeo!

Strathmore Stampede Grounds
The rodeo itself was certainly enjoyable. However the significant downside was the poor choice of music. Instead of truly representing the rich western history of Alberta, they chose to play garbage music such as drake and the weekend. It may seem like a small thing, but as a proud agricultural Albertan, this was significantly disappointing.

Rodeo and Chuckwagons didn't disappoint. We had a great time! Only one issue - we had a difficult time finding our seats and were bumped around. We appreciated those who were so kind to direct us. Only one shaming incident where we were told to get out"

First stampede/rodeo/bull riding experience. I wish I've bought my cowgirl hat before we went to the stampede. Anyway, it was so much fun! The commentator knows how to keep the event lively and not boring. Tickets came with drink stubs but there were also food trucks on the stampede grounds. Lot of porta potties and they were clean.

Bring cash ! The place is great, security is everywhere and very quick to react. The volunteers and workers are proactive and so kind. Very family friendly. Loved the rodeo show, the commentator and the crowd. It was a great introduction to rodeo.Summer 2022 : same review, less attractions for the kids this time but still a great place to be.

Amazing Chuck Wagon races and Rodeo shows, great displays of skill, both man and horse. Lots of food too. Only disappointment is there isn't much for kids to do, no rides and such.

Heritage days is always a blast and is a family friendly environment. Running with the bulls is a crazy event and you should watch!

Great time at the Strathmore Stampede! Good show, good concessions, good kids stuff. Only two drawbacks: the seats in the stands were very narrow and uncomfortable and the row numbers were in an ambiguous spot so that almost everyone in our section was sitting in the wrong row.

One of Canada's best rodeos. They have everything from Chuckwagon races to live shows to rodeo events, a carnival and even a Running of the Bulls. They even give the participants red shirts to wear. Lots of food and drink options including a large beer garden. Plenty of parking. Kid friendly. It's a good time.

If you're from Alberta, then you know this is the second greatest outdoor show on earth! And if you don't like the crowds of the Stampede then this is your rodeo. Amazing riders and the people that work or volunteer for this event are the kindest and friendliest people.
