The Waverley Retirement Residence
The writer has family living at Waverley for a few years. While it is agreed that it is indeed a stately historic building, it is in dire need of attention and updating, if not upgrading that are both long overdue. Individual residents have reported thefts/missing items of their personal property. There is a ramp" at the back entrance way for those in wheelchairs

As a family member of an elderly resident, I am pleased with the facilities for the most part. All staff are friendly and caring. Building maintenance requests however, are dealt with very slowly it seems. ie: interior window trim has not been replaced where new windows were installed almost a year ago. Another example: The carpet runner on the main staircase in the Mansion is frayed on the lead edge of the stairs in some spots. It has been patched" with what looks like clear packing tape
