Desjardins lawn and snow

13 Jan 23…… biggest snow storm of the year. Currently 5:30 PM and still have not been plowed ??? I called earlier before noon and was told they plowed once over night last night. OK? So now no one on my street has had a pass through and they have stopped answering their phones. The absolute worse customer service ever. How is this OK!So so disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service. Second massive snow storm this year. I thought I would support this smaller business and it’s been nothing but disappointment, excuses and lack of accountability. Last snow fall, we didn’t get plowed until past 2:00pm. Meanwhile Kodiak and Capital have passed twice. When we call, we are given excuses and “they’ll be there shortly” …. Only for a plow to come by 3-4 hours later. I guess you get what you pay for. Never again

This is our first year using snow removal. Desjardins has always shown up quickly after heavy snow falls. They take the time to actually clear the driveway properly. Do not rush just to get to the next driveway. Drivers are also very polite. One saw me struggling to get my son into my car and took the time to tell me no rush. Small gesture but greatly appreciated. Will be returning next year to renew service.

Used their snow cleaning services for 2 seasons and they were great!

Using them for snow removal… calling them to clean my driveway… no answer no call received…Pathetic service…My wife said over and over she is pregnant and I am away for work… still no courage to pickup call and say something… just rejecting calls continuously… it’s been more than 6 hours that snow fall stopped… and my drive way not cleaned yet…Be aware using this service…

This is the first time we have had a plough company do our driveway. We live 5 mins out of town on a rural lot. We know when a storm is coming and plan accordingly and don't expect our driveway to be done immediately. Desjardin showed up every time. It is hard to stay on top of some of the snow falls this year and I was happy with their service. Matt & his team even went above the snow fall contract and didn't charge more. We will book again for next year.

I use this business for the third winter. Two previous years it was not perfect, but ok. This winter it is not acceptable. The driveway can stay uncleaned for more than 24 hours. I missed a few working shifts because I was blocked by the snow, and my old ‘Civic’ cannot get over the snowbank. A few times, coming from work, I had a hard time getting into my garage. I had to do a lot of shovelling. I’m a senior, and my back is very bad, it is not a very healthy exercise for me.The guys don’t answer emails and most of the phone calls, if he takes a phone he talks a lot and fast, that my lawn is small and there is no room for the snow, that operator is sick or late. Is it my problem? We have the agreement, don’t we?They are not reliable.Not recommend this business. Won’t use it again.

Great service

After last week's heavy snow fall, this guy shows up to clear our driveway between 7pm/8pm (already 5cm of snow at 7AM and it kept piling on). Obviously we had had enough snow for him to clear our driveway at least twice during the day. Emailed Matt to express our disappointment in his service, but got no response.Fast forward 7 days later for Ottawa and surrounding regions' mega storm (snow, rain, freezing rain, flash freeze, snow again) and this guy doesn't show his face. Many neighbors do business with this company, yet none of us have seen him... 8pm now (almost 24 hours since it all began). Our poor neighbor couldn't get in her driveway so she had to shovel it herself so she could get in. This is unacceptable! He will not be getting our business next year!

First year for snow removal and both times showed up hours after others in the area. We have emailed and called with no response - just that they’re on their way.
