Alt Hotel Saskatoon

Good place from what I've seen. I work in the towers beside the alt hotel. Idk if anyone that works there will see this, but the cards and key codes they give you to access the parking garage at the rbc management building never work. Call the security guard on the device outside and they will let you in. It has been an on going problem for months and has not been fixed.

First time staying at this hotel chain. Our last hotel stays at Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary Downtown and DoubleTree by Hilton at downtown Florida were pretty average so decided to try something new.Very impressive decor, trendy and functional. Nice bright colour touches in lobby and room.Room design was the best I have seen and experienced in recent times. Nice to see that they got rid of bathtub and replaced it with standing shower.Room decor was mix of modern and barn style with expose front wall and ample use of wood all around. Very nicely done.Gym was adequate. Didn’t try restaurant.Good to see that they have daily Housekeeping service unlike the hotels I mentioned above. For us, entering to dirty rooms after all day is big NO, NO.Location was perfect too. Close to many restaurants and coffeehouses.Breakfast and parking not included in room rate. We found the free parking close by for both nights and went to different coffeehouses for breakfast.Highly recommended

The beds were so soft. River view king was a bit small. Patio restaurant was great, and the brunch place next door is amazing. There is a skid row flop house a block away, so be aware.

There’s a $20 per day charge for parking but only about 40 spaces for a 14 floor hotel.They nickel and dime you with charges like a cheap airline and that’s the way the whole place feels. It looks nice and new but done in low quality corner cutting ways.There towles are like sand paper and the elevators are scary to ride in, that’s for when one eventually shows up because they only have two for all their guest and all their staff that have to do cleaning or maintenance.It’s over priced and under serviced.I do not recommend staying here.

My significant other and I recently celebrated our anniversary at the Alt Hotel and they went above and beyond to make it special for us! We originally only booked 1 night and ended staying another night because we loved it so much!We walked in to a lovely surprise and personalized message from hotel staff, which we really appreciated. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking!The hotel itself is very modern, clean, and in a great location (close to restaurants, the Remai, theatre and mall). The beds were also super comfortable.We will definitely be coming back!

Stayed over one night. Beautiful view of the river. The staff was phenomenal. I was helped at the front desk by Daniel and he was so friendly and helpful! Tens, tens across the board! ;). Will be staying here on my next Saskatoon visit!

Great location, clean and modern. Staff were great.My only issue that brought this hotel down from 5 stars to 4 was the lack of parking. The only on-site option is underground parking, and that was full when I arrived. I had to park on the street a couple of blocks away. That definitely wasn't ideal, but didn't ruin my experience by any means.

Parking is terrible. There is a loading zone in the front that has enough room for 2 or 3 small cars. The underground parking is super small. No room to turn around and very hard to squeeze into a spot with anything bigger that a Ford Fiesta. A regular pickup truck barley fits assuming that there are spots left. I think there was less than 20 spots.Rooms are really small but clean and beds were decent. The shower door has gaps so the floor floods.

We stayed at the Alt for my friend's bachelorette. I had never been there before but was very happy! The room was super nice; amazing view, comfy beds, big closet space with a bench, bathroom was nice.It's also in a nice area because you're right beside the river and there are several things to do around the downtown area.I would stay here again!

Really beat spot. Incredible view (15th floor view of River) and room was tiny but comfortable.The location is fantastic and in the heart of good energy in the city.However the shower didn't work. Literally did not work. When I called the front desk, they had no solution. I made a soft complaint at check out and was told Thanks".These cool spots are usually poorly managed (as evidence by my experience) and the staff are usually not trained or simply put - brutal.
