Five Guys
Pretty standard stuff. The burger was good, all the flavour coming from the toppings as beef is quite plain. Burger sort of falls apart if you hold it too long so you have to eat it quickly. No combos, so pretty pricey. Staff is nice. Not really my preference, but can be good if you're looking for a good American burger.

Today was my first time at Five Guys and it hit the spot. Hot, fresh, filling, and competitively priced. I lived in the U.S. for several years, and this place brought me back to some of my best burger memories. The burger stood out; not an easy task in this saturated burger market. Fries were freshly cut and pretty good. I ordered from the website which was easy and ready on time. I’ll be back!

So good and so much food. It is not cheap though that's for sure. Family of 4 and our bill was $80 and that was for 4 burgers, 3 fries and 4 drinks. Could probably reduce 1 fry as you get a lot of fries. Burgers are messy and lots of toppings to choose from to add. Can be very busy so getting a table can be a challenge sometimes. Only thing that would make this better is to add a bit more value to the customer price wise or some coupons or specials.

TL;DR - Burger was a mess, bun was nearly liquid, milkshakes were runny and flavourless, fries were alright. Not coming back, sad to see my favourite burger place tank this bad.I used to love Five Guys. I remember dying to find any reason to head down to south end just to get a delicious burger. So, finding myself in Guelph on the odd chance today, my wife and I stopped in and got burgers, fries, and shakes. We go there early--just after opening, at about 11:40, stopping in for an early lunch. The restaurant was empty other than us, so the following comments on quality can hardly be blamed on a busy kitchen or high customer demands. We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, a regular fry to share, and a chocolate and strawberry milkshake. The fries were great (which is about the only thing that bumped this review up to a 2-Star). Nice crunch, salted perfectly--no complaints. The shakes were lackluster, the chocolate having barely any flavour at all (a big change since last time we were here and had the option of malted chocolate), and the strawberry was so filled with strawberry bits that it was more like bubble tea than a milkshake. Our $12 burgers? Not so good.We got takeout, so there's some small consideration to be made for this (though, food should really be able to last a 10-minute car ride in the age of Food Ordering services like Skip and Uber). I drove home while my wife dove into her burger. The bun was soaking wet to the point that it literally poured--not dripped--out of the foil wrapper and onto our car seat. The cheese was more liquid than solid, making the entire thing a sloppy mess which my wife could only get about 3 bites into before wrapping it back up and dumping it into the bag with disgust. When we got home, I opened up my burger and, as seen in the picture, found it soaking wet as well, to the point that the bun literally had the texture of hot wax. I literally had to pull a burger bun from my freezer and throw it into the toaster to try and reclaim any of the $50 spent on the lunch. It didn't work--the toppings were saturated to the point of being slop, the patty crumbled when I tried to transfer it, and the bacon was embedded into the bun mush that I couldn't separate it.On a more positive note--the bites that I did end up getting, once all the edible food was transferred onto a structurally-sound bun, we're actually decent, showing that the Five Guys recipe for making burger patties still holds up, even if everything else falls apart.I think this is more an experience in Just because you CAN buy a franchise

The burger and bag fries were fantastic, we had not had Five Guys for a while and forgot how good it was for a fast food burger. The topping were fresh, the fries were hot… too bad in Canada more Coca Cola Freestyle Machine’s don’t exist, they are the cats meow when it comes to cold beverages.

Five Guys
Consistently the best Five Guys that I've been to. They always have the best fries out of any place that I have been to, and they give you a little cup but you actually get about 3 cups worth in total in the bag. Beware the peanut oil if you have allergies. The burgers are good. The beef is unseasoned but that's another argument for purists vs. wild flavourings. They do have a ton of free toppings though and you can ask for whatever. Prices are a little high. TIP: Lots of parking and there's Chocolats Favoris for ice cream in the plaza if you don't want a shake for dessert. Grab a dish of peanuts to eat while you wait for your order. They're exceptionally good too.

The Cities Best Burger Has Arrived! The fresh beef and toppings are obvious, as are the obnoxious amount of fries they load up. Friendly staff and free peanuts along with a very clean restaurant will make this a no brainer for premium burgers. The $9 cheeseburger will steer some from trying these burgers but it's well worth it.

Only the best of the best at this location! Always the quickest, most polite service with a thank you and a smile. Plentiful toppings, carefully put together, just a perfect burger every time. This is what all burger chains should aim for. Can't wait to return! Please reward your staff for their consistent hard work.

Service was great. My only gripe is the same as others have said -- they've changed buns and they're now more crumbly. We got our burgersall the way" and the fried onions sitting on the bottom bun turned it into a soggy mess."
