The special lamprice is amazing. You get a really big portion for the price. There are atleast 14-15 different types of curries that comes with it. They also specialize in devil chicken, fish and squid. It’s not too spicy or tooo sweat. It’s just the right amount. Their kottu rotti has native taste.Highly recommend this place.Whitby.

This restaurant is selling rotten food. Food smells and tastes very bad. The quantity is very less. not worth to pay $25 for 1 lump rice. worst restaurant. Highly not recommend it. the taste and the restaurant is not like before.

Came in to grab a quick lunch and ordered the lunch special which is 4 vegetable curries and 1 meat. The special also includes some papadam and I ordered a fish cutlet on the side.The lady working the counter, Loga, was very friendly and fast. The food tasted fresh and was still hot after I biked home. My favourite two dishes have to either be the bittermelon or the fish. I appreciate really spicy food and this hit the spot. The portions were very big and I probably have enough food for the next 2 days!

Edited out my previous review and rating from 1 star to 4 stars because the quality of food has increased. The rice and curry pack is the best. Fried rice not so much. The curries used to be too spicy, but lately they have reduced the spice level, and now it’s perfect.

I’ve tried their Nasi goreng. Good enough portion, lots of meat in it. But the taste? It was cold. And they have to improve their customer service. I asked them pack a couple of items separately to the lamprais. They refused it . The answer was they are busy. I don’t think they were busy @ the time. The restaurant name and the food name are very attractive but they should attract customers with the taste of food and the customer service.

Amazing food are used to always go to Babu but wow this food is super fresh beautiful flavors worth checking out this little spot

The spices and flavour in this platter were amazing! Greatful they were able to seperate the vegetables from the meat as well. Tasty food and friendly service! A+

we have been buying from this place for a few months. the first few months the food was good. what put me off was the last weekend. we bought 3 rice and curry fish. when we got home there were fish heads on two and a tail on one. when i called the owner said that she will replace it the next time! but i was going to eat my food then! what should have happened is they should have made an attempt to get the replacement to me that night! not later!

They’re food is soooooo delicious especially their lampraise ( weekend special) AND fish cutlet. I even bought kothu roti from them yesterday and it was fabulous. I would recommend you guys to try it out. Rating: 10/10
