It's natural and the landscape is beautiful. But it's dirty. It's need maintenance or improvement.

I'm surprised at the recent good reviews, it would be lovely if there wasn't rubbish everywhere or graffiti on all the bridges or what looked like a homeless shelter in the woods. Does anyone come clean it up in summer?

Wouldn’t recommend walking through with your little ones or if you’re a female alone.. people camping/living outside in this area, disposed needles on the ground and trash everywhere. Also the people who hang in this area are usually on drugs or try to bug you about cigarettes and drugs.I’ve been here multiple times and still get nervous to walk alone or at night should never be an option. Very sketchy place in Barrie.Only plus side is the scenery where the ducks reside at.

Pretty as long as it and the wildlife are protected and the people that live around there are shown some consideration in the matter. It should not take a back seat to indigents and party people that litter that area constantly.

It truly is a beautiful piece of woodland in the downtown Barrie area. The wildlife there is amazing. One individual helps the ducks there, they will come close for a good look. Kids would love the it all.

Pretty, little spot but there are homeless people that tend to be there. Everyone is always friendly though. Just not very clean.

This place is beautiful yes, but it also shows the desperate shortcomings of our city - it's become a homeless park. The pond to feed the ducks great, but know if you take the trails it's a tent community

Beautiful site, unfortunately the city has desires to build over this area by constructing a monstrous apartment building complex on 233 Dunlop Street West. If you think that they will preserve it, then you are letting a magnificent piece of natural beauty in our city be developed at the expense of the local wildlife and the people who enjoy the area.
