Rural Municipality of Duck Lake No. 463

Duck lake is very peaceful and a great place to live , the only problem is the grids are rough like you wouldn’t believe possible, your vehicle bounces sideways driving over wash boards , and on top of that you loose running boards driving thro potholes .ppl from other countries say duck lakes grid roads are terrible, it’s not just us local ppl that think that . Other countries graders are on their roads every other week n ours aren’t even once per month . I like living here, I have no plan on moving to a different rm, no rm is perfect, but we can stick together and make it better . I have never been a grader driver , n never plan on it either , but I imagine it’s not easy but I do know other rms have smoother grids then we do , so I know it’s possible to make them better . N they are normally better after the grader been on them . They should just come around more often .But the ladies behind the counter are terrific and very understanding , easy going . One time the grader left huge rocks on the middle of the road ,(they were so big that I couldn’t open my car door over the rocks ) I took pictures of that n the ladies said they would take care of that , and that afternoon the grader was on the road n fixed it , like I said I love here it’s very peaceful, the only problem I have is when my vehicles wanna turn sideways on a dry grid cause of washboards or loosing a running board cause of potholes.
