Super cute little local ice cream shop on Mill Street! Variety of flavours with your staples but also offers some fun ones if you’re in the mood to be adventurous (can be a bit hit/miss but that’s likely the idea of trying creative flavours!).A local favourite so would recommend if you’re walking along downtown.

Love this spot! I believe it's run by a father-daughter duo. The girl is so friendly and sweet and the ice cream is so delicious. It sounds like they do some creative stuff with apple cider in the colder months too that I'm looking forward to checking out. Definitely a must visit when they're open.

Don't let the long line up deceive you, the staff are Rockstars so the line moves quick and the wait is always well worth it! They are always changing up their flavours which makes it exciting every time we go because you never know what is available and every kind is delicious!!! The small serving is definitely not small as they're very generous with their scoops but somehow I always seem to have enough room to finish it every time. I would have to say it is my favourite ice cream in the Ottawa area!!

The Almonte Ice Cream Shop
They always keep at least one non-dairy option (vegan oat and/or sorbet) and cycle through flavours often (I have a nut allergy so I can find a safe window in between). The salted caramel was absolutely delicious!! Great family activity to order a cone or bowl and enjoy a picnic.
