Bute Street Pedestrian Walkway

I often stop here on a hot day. It's got shade,places to sit, a poster kiosk and a water fountain.

Always a great place to stop and enjoy the world moving around you. A central place with a water fountain, community space to post adverts, and just to relax.

A good place to sit down and think

Not too much litter but cigarette butts ,please throw them out into the garbage not our gardens

It's your standard pedestrian walkway however of course it does mingle a bit with traffic in the area next to the old folks home so be careful traversing the full length. The area is pleasant and gives off a little slice of heaven" vibe. Here you can sit and zone out enjoying the ambience. It is a good place to stop and catch a breath. In a fast paced city like this. Areas like this one become a necessity rather than a creature comfort.There are cafes and shops along the area closer to Robson street with rental bikes to grab incase you need one. There's always a friendly person willing to have a chat. Just be careful because they will talk your ear off

Saturday I walked from Nelson Park where an interesting Farmers Market was being held along Comox Street and strolled down Bute Street to Robson Street and I stopped in the Bute Street Walkway, which allowed only pedestrians and bikes..I sat on a bench and enjoyed the water feature and then proceeded to Robson and pasted through a a very busy cafe area where people were totally enjoying the day..

It's a walkway. Some nice greenery, and a fountain that doesn't seem to get used anymore. There's a poster board on the northern side, and a garbage can.
