I found myself at a time in my life thatre-entering the workforce during the highlight of the pandemic wasn’t going to be an easy task as an older worker. I needed a laptop for my job search and KCR lent me one, no questions asked. Unheard of these days!I was lucky enough to be paired with the most amazing woman as my case worker. Avril is her name and she comes with a wealth of knowledge about community resources available to everyone, along with her kindness, compassion, encouragement and unending support. She believed in me when I couldn’t do it for myself. If you’re lucky to be paired with her, you’ve won the lottery.To me she has been more than just a case worker, she has been my light during a very difficult time. I am now gainfully employed with the assistance of KCR, couldn’t have done it without all the help.If you need help, contact KCR, if they can’t help you, they’ll know who can. Kudos to all the staff at KCR, you are all a treasure, your services can’t be beat, Thank you for all you do ♥️

We are adoptive parents thanks to KCR. We cam to KCR after having worked with another agency that closed due to financial reasons. We weren't sure we had the heart, or funds, to continue our adoption journey. KCR was transparent, understanding, and supportive. The team ensured they understood our circumstances, and always had our best interests at heart.They went above and beyond to support the birth parents who eventually chose us to raise their son. We know he would have had a much different future were it not for the experienced, compassionate, and persevering staff that advocated on his and his birth parents behalf. We are forever grateful for their work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build their family through adoption.

Absolutely amazing. I am a young birth mother and I placed my daughter through KCR and my experience was everything I could’ve hoped for and more. We found the perfect couple for our beautiful baby and they made it a lot smoother for us ! Incredible staff.

My husband and I worked with the Adoption Centre of BC for our international adoption with Haiti. While the process was long (as expected), Marni and the team were amazing guides all along the way. The kind, supportive care during this part of our adoption journey was much appreciated. And we are so thankful for our beautiful family that we were able to grow through adoption.
