First time trying this locations food. Have to say they have the best grilled chicken and roast potatoes I've ever tried. Would buy again for sure.Also, we have to add that they have great customer service. The guy at the counter is awesome

I ordered four roasted chickens through Uber Eats. Three of the chickens were absolutely delicious and juicy, as per the positive reviews. But the 4th was a 2 or 3 day leftover. Disgusting and dry that we did not serve to our guests.I would of given a 5 star review. But I felt ripped off and angry that the restaurant snuck an obviously dryed out chicken in a large order hoping we would not notice it.Unfortunately, we did.Thankfully, Uber gave us a full refund for that disgusting, dirty bird that should of been donated rather than sold for $19.99

St Matthew's BBQ Chicken
I just finished one of the most delicious meals I’ve had from Saint Matthews in a long time. I ordered rice, potatoes, grilled chicken, and a baccala dish that had mayonnaise in it. This meal was an absolute delight. Bravo to the cooks and all I can say is with meals like that I’ll be back for more. Keep up the good work Yummmmm!!!

Really good rotisserie chicken, it falls apart on its own and full of flavour, no need for hot sauce. The rice was flavourful and the potatoes so soft. There’s a few tables but take out is popular. Great friendly quick service, limited parking spots on the street.

I tried alllllll the chicken places in Toronto, this place is amazing. I have been purchasing food from here for twenty years. The food satisfy my tastebuds 110% . The owner is a great person .

Went in on Saturday evening to pick up some rotisserie chicken and potatoes but I also ended up getting a small order of black bean stew simply because it looked so good (think it's called Feijoada Brazileira but I'm not sure). It's OUTSTANDING! Full of flavor and had a generous portion of assorted meats inside. Highly recommend. The chicken and potatoes were also wonderful as usual ☺️Muito obrigada

I won't lie....they had a sign up that if you made a review, you'd get a free pop. So with that being said, I am doing this without collecting said drink hahaThe food here was great! Some of the best Portuguese chicken I've had in the city. If you've been thinking about going, do it! Well worth the trip to Rogers Rd

We ordered the half-grilled chicken which was very flavourful and the sides of potatoes and rice very uniquely flavoured, the ambience had a light music and happy staff. There was an air of positivity.I would definitely recommend visiting here.
