This is a must for those people visiting Canada. It is a great place for learning about the maple process in an interesting way and kids will love it.

Great place to visit any time of the year.In March they organize a Maple Magic festival with tours explaining how maple syrup is made. You can taste maple syrup and delicious Indigenous food. If you’re looking to eat moose or deer this is where you can find it along with sweet pine tea and other delicacies of original Canadian food.Learn about the history of Mississauga with the help of knowledgeable employees and volunteers or just enjoy the beautiful area. There’s a fairytale like log house and other historic buildings that will bring you back in time of the settlers arrival to Canada. For practicalities: there’s free parking and toilets on site.

Well-organized, grand opening of a new, seasonal program specializing in native foods--from planting seeds and growing plants to preparing various dishes in pioneer fashion. Very educational event that everyone enjoyed.

So much that I did not know or appreciate about the Black experience in what later became Mississauga.Could it be that life was better in the 1830s?

We went there last Sunday around 2PM, but it is closed. Misleading information on their website and at the signboard. says Open Thursday...Sunday 12 - 4. Beautiful park, great place to have a walk or a picnic on the grass, but with the gas prices $2/L it's not worth to drive all the way from Brampton. Small, abandoned garden.

Booked a tour to learn more about Black history in Canada. Lovely guided tour with Maysoon. We learned a lot, we’re able to ask questions and to have a glimpse into the lives of the area inhabitants (via the Bradley building) Also attended the Inuit exhibit in the Anchorage building. LOVED the oral history recording in this Inuit exhibit

So very cool. Discovered an outdoor exhibit that was both interesting, and moving to me. It illuminates the Seven Teachings or the Seven Grandfather's..something we should all practice..there are many good lessons to be learned here. I can't believe I never knew this was here!
