Macnamara Nature Trail
Lovely nature reserve with several low difficulty trails. It does tend to be over used with COVID and being in a town, it occasionally attracts vandals. The town (Arnprior) does little to maintain the property, as it is managed by volunteers from the local nature club. The land is owned by the chemical plant adjacent to the property. Note: no dogs allowed as this is a nature reserve.

Beautiful trail in a charming little town. I give and okay" rating bc the trail was completely full of mosquitoes. Had to turn around and leave because we were covered in them. Natural repellent will not do the trick."

Beautiful place, trails and boardwalks/bridges were well maintained, plenty of forest and water, lots of wildlife, and was shocked it wasn't too busy on a warm day during a pandemic. Looking forward to going back again sometime soon. :)

Macnamara Nature Trail
Went for the first time on a cold January day after some fresh snow. Didn't take snow shoes but they would have been handy to help pack the trail. The trail is pretty well marked so we were able to easily find the trails that hadn't been used yet. There is a nice spot with a bench to watch birds at the feeders. Will definitely go again.

Macnamara Nature Trail
This was a good hike. Flat-ish, and reasonable deep in the woods. Ups and owns were not to bad, some oarts of trail were barrow. Some uneven gound with tree stumps. I would go back.

MacNamara is an easy walking trail with options for a shorter or long hike. Depending on when you take this hike, you may need bug spray!

Macnamara Nature Trail
Came here in the winter and it was amazing. The trail was easy to walk on and not icy. The scenery was gorgeous and it wasn’t busy at all really felt like you were in a secluded forest. There are so many neat things and side trails to walk on as well. I can’t wait to come back in the summer
