Chris has helped me on a few occasions now, and I have no reservations recommending him for all appliance repairs. Not only is he honest, but he is also experienced and reliable. If he couldn't fix an appliance, or if it couldn't be repaired economically, he told me sooner than later. He didn't waste my time and money. In fact, he went the extra step and told me what he would do in my situation at no monetary benefit to himself. I have felt ripped off by other appliance repair people in the past, but not by Chris. He has gone above and beyond my expectations.

I emailed Chris, and within an hour or two he had replied to my request. Right off the bat Chris was wonderful. He wrote out a lengthy email explaining what the problem might be and the pros and cons of fixing a 12 year old dryer. We went with fixing it, and he even upgraded a few parts. My 10 year old Inglis washer started leaking lots of water and i got in touch with Chris...he is super passionate and very knowledgeable in this field....he took time to give me excellent suggestions...I opted to buy a new machine since the old one isn't worth fixing and he gave me a thorough understanding of my options and suggested where to go to buy a durable washing machine that'll last...that's what you call Impeccable Customer Service...he went above and beyond to help me and really cares that I get the best washer to suit my needs! Fantastic experience getting our washer fixed. Chris responded to our inquiries promptly and was even early for the appointment. He was professional, friendly, and did a great job. The cost was extremely reasonable. He gave us really useful tips to keep things in good working order in the future and I ended up learning a great deal talking to him. I initially came across Cambie Appliance through my realtor when I purchased our house. We needed some work done immediately on our fridge and although Chris at Cambie Appliance was out of town and unable to help us, he still responded with a very detailed email outlining the situation and importance of taking care of it immediately – his insight, direction and recommendation was helpful.I was so impressed by the detailed information Chris initially provided that when it came to fixing our gas range, I called him right away. Chris went above and beyond once again. Long story short, the range had some serious issues that Chris identified and ordered the appropriate parts to fix it. When the parts came, and no fault of his, there was a manufactured defect. Appreciating that it was close to the holidays, he provided a solution to ensure that we had a stove to use. We eventually received the replacement part but unfortunately, there was a different issues this time, again no fault of his. All the parts came directly from the manufacturer of the stove and were OEM. Eventually through his persistence with the dealer and the manufacturer, we finally received the working part and he fixed the stove. It works perfectly now.Chris provided on-going service until he was able to fix it. His professionalism, level of service is well above any that I would have expected. Chris, of Cambie Appliance, is the BEST. He really knows his field. I don't think you will find many people more knowledgeable. He is professional, good at his work, and his rates are reasonable. I had never met him, but when my washer broke down, he came and repaired it without issue. With his experience, he was able to listen to it and identify the problem right away. As my washer is an older model, I fully expected to be told it wasn't worth fixing but Chris knows the various makes, models and and their manufacturing history, so it gives him really good insight.I highly recommend Cambie Appliance.
