I have to say I'm disappointed in this health unit. They obviously have no idea on how to manage situations. Even if we want to say there's 160,000 people in the thunder bay district how can you not manage a a few hundred cases.Sad and disappointed. I mean why fund this organization if they aren't even doing the job correctly.

They have always been very helpful whenever I have called and had questions. Even redirecting me politely when I've had the wrong department. The website is a wealth of information. Easy to navigate. Love the social media updates! Good job!!

Amazing ladies at main reception thanks for helping me with my out dated confusing immunization sheet. Took 10000 pounds of stress off my back with in 15 minutes.

I've been coming here for 9 years. The past year the ladies have been snobby and rude to me (ladoes that work reception). They always act like they do not want to be here. Today one of them huffed constantly while I was going up to the desk, and after I filled out my clip board to see the doctor. I have tried several times to come here over 1 simple issue that I was told I could call to switch my meds if needed. Of course that wasnt possible. Now I'm hours late for work and still waiting for this doctor" that is brand new. I get that it is their first day on the job but I missed out on almost a full shift of work today over this. This is unacceptable. The place closes in 20 minutes and still waiting so I can be on my medication I've been trying to get back on for 3 months. And of course they blamed the situation on the "new doctor". I actually got in with one of the older doctors. I get the wait time but it's the receptionists here that are snobby and rude."

Very helpful staff at the front desk. There is a very convenient table as soon as you enter through the front door to drop off ticks that may have bitten you or your pet. Just fill out the form and put the tick in the designated bin using the bags provided. They offer follow up calls to tell you if you are at risk of contracting Lyme disease or not.

My daughter has free dental cleaning here and the staff also helped us to register her to the Healthy smiles Ontario for free filling. My kids also have free vaccinations here to meet the Ontario requirement. Outside of the building there is one disposal unit for needles. For the safety of our future, hope no one leave used needles and syringes on streets. Condoms are also free here and you can get them in the restroom. It’s really a good idea to let them there then people taking them would not feel shy.Thank you so much for this existing in public.

Excellent services. Lots of free vaccinations, dental care, condoms and so much more. Give them a call to see how they can help you. Thank goodness we live in a country and province that has this for everyone.
