I had a great experience with Dr. Izukawa. He was well mannered, friendly and very professional. Dr. Izukawa made sure I was well informed about my condition and subsequent treatment. On surgery day, he was very quick to put my family and myself at ease before the surgery. After surgery he made time to speak with my family and gave an overview of how things went. Follow up was scheduled promptly.I highly recommend Dr. Izukawa.

Dr. Izukawa is a compassionate & understanding surgeon. He listens intently & asks questions to ensure he understood the symptoms that I was experiencing. He was quick to act to look after my herniated disc to relieve me of the pain I was in. Excellent bedside manner. Professional, friendly office. Highly recommended.

I was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr Izukawa at the Trillium Spine clinic. He is an amazing doctor with a fantastic personality, he made me feel at ease for the entire appointment. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with him, then know you are in the best hands :)

Dr. Izukawa is like a miracle to me. I was in so much pain with having a bulging disc at c6-7 for a couple of years until i found hope with Dr. Izukawa. He performed an ACDF and I am now back into an active lifestyle and free of any pain! Thank you, thank you for helping me get my life back! You can expect him to be very professional, respectful and takes the time to explain the procedure, risks, benefits and answers your questions. His receptionist was also very helpful in navigating the surgery prep.

Disappointing encounter which had been much anticipated as a hope for relief of pain caused by cyst in lower spine. Dr. Izukawa did not take the time to assess me properly, choosing instead to fall onto preconceived generalization of diabetics. His lack of interest in my suffering and his callous dismissal was heartbreaking. He may be a good surgeon but his bedside manner is in dire need of re-training.
