Excellent customer service and fantastic results with the art I have brought in more than once. I fully recommend this store for anyone who's looking to get work done! I am a White Rock resident and it is nice to find nice quality service in the neighbourhood.

We had a couple of projects over the last months. One was a restoration of a badly damaged print of a military regiment from our family history. The resulting print and frame are so well done we were completely taken aback. The other was another old family portrait. Again the results were fantastic.

Don't use the Gallery Central Plaza if you want your painting/picture properly centred in the frame. The mat size should fit the frame: it doesn't. Corrugated cardboard is NOT acid-free and masking tape anywhere is never acceptable. $235 wasted. Instead, use the White Rock Gallery at 1247 Johnston St. They spotted the uneven framing right away. They know what they're doing.

I've been happy with the supplies (usually know what I want without assistance) and the framing service. But today my son (3rd year art student) was in and they told him .7mm pencil leads do not exist; that they only come in even sizes, even after he insisted! (Maybe YOU only order even sizes). Staff reportedly did not know what gouache was. I am going to guess you had a framing expert confidently comment on media they were not familiar with.
