We went to attend a drag show in the garden. But we also had the chance to enjoy beautiful installments along the paths showcasing local artists, an opportunity to feed some ducks, and some very beautiful flowers. It's a great place to take a stroll after work to break up your day and change your scenery.

My father in law took us to the botanical gardens for the first time today. My two sons had a blast exploring all the trails and searching for fairy doors and gnomes. They have a vast array of plants from all over the world and the staff are quite knowledgeable about them. You can easily spend hours just exploring the trails and looking at the beautiful plants. The cost for adults is $8.00 and children under 5 are free.

A great gem right in the heart of St John's. They have an artist exhibit where the artists have used doors to showcase their art with each telling a story behind the masterpieces. It was like a treasure hunt for the senses. A nice set of trails that link to one another and this is a definite must for the little ones and adults alike. Funded in part by Memorial University New Foundland the botanical gardens has a Cafe with great food and its a lovely way to spend a few hours out in nature with flora and fauna to soothe the senses.

Had a great walk through the beautiful trails and gardens and a good browse through the impressive little gift shop. Staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the support for local artists whose greeting cards are available in the shop. The trails are well-marked and the plaques are well-designed and educational. Well worth the price of admission.

My family and I had an amazing experience at the Merry and Bright Festival. Well planned, organized and the displays were amazing. There were even a small group singing Christmas Carol's. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers.
