Deb's Comedy Den

Like other reviewers already said this is not a comedy club it is an old barber shop that a weird old lady down the street rents out to put on her own stand up comedy shows. There is not any comedy. For some reason she insists she perform herself in front of a few empty folding chairs. If you want to go to a place where you are trapped and stared at by a strange old woman and her friends, where you are the entire audience and pretend to laugh out of pity and count the seconds until you can leave the dusty dark prison you are in, then this is the comedy club for you! They will even corner you after and force you to talk which is somehow even more awkward than the show. It was so bad it should be fun at least unintentionally but it is just sad. The five star reviews must be by the people who run this awful show. This is not even a club it is an old barber shop that closed down and still is a tiny, dirty barber shop. The sign inside was made at home with construction paper. The old woman who rents the barber shop to put on these shows is loud and awful and also performs most of the show herself, telling jokes and even partially stripping which was just gross. The show is terrible, they ask for way too much money and the club's own description is a total lie. 'A comedy store established in the late 90's seeing the likes of Jim Carrey, Dave Chappelle, and Jimmy Carr' There is no way any of these comedians ever performed in this dank little room with a terrible screeching microphone and how can they claim this club was established in the late 90's when until 3 years ago was a barber shop and then sat empty after than for like another 2 years.I wish I could give this horrible unfunny barber shop comedy show zero stars. Don't quit your day jobs.
