What a lovely little gem store! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and has a stunning collection. Very reasonably priced considering the excellent quality of stone and settings. Will definitely be back!

Recently purchased an ammolite pendant and very happy with the item and the price. There are other items too like crystals and fossils. Great service! Will be back again.

Awesome surprise to discover Nanaimo Rock and Gem. Jake was super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the beautiful rocks and gems in his store. He took the time to explain our many questions, and even cut and polish an opal while we watched. We'll be back again soon!

Very knowledgeable. I have yet to see inside the Nanaimo store but anticipate from the pictures & videos I've seen on Facebook that the store will be great. Love the ammolite pendant that I purchased from Jake at the Chilliwack Rock and Gem show.

This is your stop for anything rocks in the mid island! I walked in not knowing anything about ammolites and left with a knowledge and infatuation, I even got a live flat lap display!Jacob not only opened a fantastic shop but truly makes you feel welcomed when you walk through the door.I will for sure be stopping by again for any rocks or supplies. Great shop to just browse for any stones you need! Great local selection as well.

Phenomenal selection and excellent staff and service! What a gem to find this shop in our town! If you want to find a unique gift or treat for yourself this is the place to visit! I love rocks, gems and fossils and so happy to find an eclectic mix of everything here including one of a kind jewelry, hand crafted by the shop owner! True artwork. Love the necklace I bought, no one will ever have one like it, complete unique and totally me!

What a fantastic store! AMAZING selection of stunning Ammolite, crystal and gemstone specimens. All at reasonable prices. Even the owner is a gem! I would highly recommend this store to everyone from the amateur rock enthusiasts to the high end collectors. This store has it all. Seen you again soon!

Just met Jake. He is very knowledgeable with a beautiful collection. The ammolite pieces are amazing. Picked up a little moon stone ring for my wife. It was hard walking out with only three things. Can’t wait to see the piece we are having made ;)
