Steve fit me in last minute to get a Whistler parting gift. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable and not rushed to make my decision on what I wanted. He worked with my ideas and turned it into what I envisioned. Thanks so much for giving me a little piece of Whistler forever.

Steve Kretz workshopped two tattoo designs for me and they're absolutely stunning. The linework is unbelievably solid and smooth. He was friendly, kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable. he made great conversation despite me getting loopy and talking like an idiot lol. the two designs I got done were fairly simple, but he made sure they were perfect. thank you Steve for an incredible experience and two beautiful tattoos that mean the world to me.

We travelled from Ontario for vacation and planned in advance to get tattooed while in Whistler. We found Black Ohm online and reached out to Steve to discuss our idea and see if he had availability. Steve was super helpful and responsive through the process of nailing down our design and booking. On the day of our appointments Steve was great - friendly and made us feel super comfortable. Our tattoos were absolutely beautiful.

I am big fan of Dave Petko’s (Pepe) art and his tattooing skills. He was recommended to me by two separate friends of mine.I liked his Facebook page to follow some of his work. Eventually I came across a whole series of landscape drawings he released and was instantly captured. His style of trees was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I reached out to him for an appointment and consultation and was very impressed with his responsiveness and how easy he was to work with.Since this was my first tattoo I did not know what to expect. After I pitched my ideas to him and showed him some pictures of what I had in mind, he drafted a design for me that went way beyond my expectations. His actual tattooing skills are great. I love the way he is able to work with vibrant colours and has an eye for proportions and shading. His lines are clean and delicate. I have seen a few of his pieces tattooed on my friends and noticed how wide his skill range really is. If you like his art, reach out to him. You won’t be disappointed.

Just got my first Tattoo from Steve, very professional, excellent work and non invasive, easy to work with, I had a silhouette of, my wife, dog and myself waling down a trail in a forest, things turned out so well that Steve and I are working on some ideas to finish off my forearm. My wife was so impressed that she is scheduled to see Seve in the next two months.I'm having problems posting a picture but trust me it looks greatThanks Steve.

Steve went above and beyond what my expectations were for my second ever tattoo and much larger than my first.( this was going on top of my foot). Steve's attention to detail, realistic nature drawings, top tier design, gentle tattoo techniques, and very informative discussion with all my foot tattoo worries made my experience exceptional. I came in expecting to listen to my personal music, and constant distraction to help deal with any nervous feelings and pain I thought I was going to experience. Steve helped keep me distracted (though I didn't expect via a previous experience at another non local artist). We had a good conversation for several hours, all while he kept focused and keeping me updated on the progress of my tattoo. I will definitely be back and book early to get on his calendar as I live back in the states. I see many more of my tattoos coming from Steve! Such awesome art from Steve the tattoo artist!

I highly recommend Black Ohm for your next special piece of body art!! I worked with Dave and he is absolutely wonderful. Kind, patient, talented, knowledgeable and he’s been doing his craft for a very long time. I had a beautiful frog design done on my shoulder and I am extremely pleased.
