Super Nova Dog Training Academy

I recently had a private session booked with Michelle, and unfortunately I would not recommend her if you have a larger sized dog. I have honestly never met anyone that uncomfortable around my dog before, let alone an actual dog trainer. He is a 8month old puppy and although he's a big boy, he is not aggressive or scary by any means, though she acted very nervous when handling him, which gives me the impression she is not experienced or comfortable with larger dogs. During my session I really didn't gain any new strategies or methods, and the information that was given to me was nothing I hadn't hear or read before on google. Needless to say it was a very long hour session and I gained absolutely nothing from it. This trainer may be suitable for a small puppy needing to learn the basics, but definitely not an appropriate fit for a large breed dog or puppy.

Great classes! Head trainer Rob was super warm, really enjoyed my time with them. It felt like they genuinely cared about both myself, and my dog. Fantastic hands on experience.

Had a private session with Michelle who was advised that my dog has difficulties with skateboarders. She was totally unprofessional in her approach and decided that the dog was too strong to walk. While he was pulling her and barking at a skateboarder she offered him a treat. Say what?When I complained about the $80 I paid her for a totally failed training I was told by Rob, the owner, that Supernova training does not have a return policy.I was out the money. Do not use this company under any circumstances when you are looking for training.

Highly recommended dog training academy. Rob is calm and knowledgeable, dogs respond to him very well. Rob has a lot of patience and is very easy to talk to. He is able to communicate well with people in order to understand what clients need and clearly explain the training process.
