Cusheon Lake Resort

This was our third time at Cusheon Lake Resort both in the winter and in the spring. We love the rustic style cabins with all you really need equipped kitchens, comfortable king size bed and a beautiful lake all around the resort. The resort managers do a really great job to keep this little paradise well taking care of.

Helpful and very friendly staff. Cabins are cozy surrounded by a peaceful lake and serene forest. The fireplace is prime for those rainy evenings.

Wonderful spot for a quiet and quaint family getaway. Glen was super welcoming, generous, and provided both a crib and high chair for our 10 month old. Kitchen was very well prepared to cook in. Beautiful view of the lake and a fireplace with wood ready to go. We had a super relaxing time and hope to come back again.

Our annual summer vacation has always been at Cusheon Lake; this is our 18th year. Cabins have kitchens adequate to make dinner for 15 (we go with a couple of other families and take turns cooking) and the A-frame sleeps about 6 in the loft for sleepovers. Although we stick mostly to our own group, we've always had friendly interactions with other guests; possibly because everyone is so relaxed. This is a very quiet, peaceful place with no public access, resort-only beach, canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, badminton, and the ever-popular hot tub. Andie and Glen have a commitment to providing a safe and scrupulously clean environment so that everyone can enjoy their getaways. Where do I begin? From before we even arrived the service was amazing, questions were thoroughly answered and the feeling was very welcoming. Once we arrived the check in was very simple.The bedding and beds in our cabin were heaven and honestly the best sleep I have had in forever! The fireplace was so relaxing to have inside the cabin and the firewood delivery in the afternoons was an added bonus.Access to the hot tub and canoes as you please is a great a addition.100% would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lovely, quiet, lake with a variety of cabins for couples and families. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Canoes, paddle boards provided. Our week here is so wonderful that we've booked two cabins for our family's return visit.

This is an amazing little getaway! My family and I stayed during the heavy snowfall in December and not only was it picturesque, but the service and cabins were amazing! They clear paths and walk ways immediately in the mornings and brought all the firewood you need. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting the laid back island experience. Thank you so much staff of Cusheon !

I want to give this a one-star (just to help us get a spot next summer). I loved it, my family loved it and will definitely be back. We even bought a gift card for other family members so they could enjoy it. Just please don't spread word around too much ok?

Wonderful and tranquil place for a family stay. We loved the fireplace and that the wood was provided daily and enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by snow. Waking up with the gorgeous view of the lake covered in ice was the perfect start of the day!Glen was very helpful and super nice, we got a better cabin than we booked just because he is generous. I’d recommend this place to spend long winter and dark afternoons in cozy place after hiking in beautiful Salt Spring Island :)

Absolutely loved my stay here. The outdoor hot tub and free canoe usage is awesome
