Beautiful place to take a walk. Pedestrians and cyclists seem to respect each other and allow each other enough space. Now, if people would only pick up after their dogs it would be great!

At the current moment (2021-01-03) the west dyke trail is damp and contains little puddles. Trail is groomed with many cyclists, runners, walkers and dog walkers using it. There's also washroom facilities that're fairly lit up (lights went on as I typed this). Nice views of the marshes and horizon.

West Dyke Trail
A well maintained dyke pathway that runs north from Garry Point Park to Terra Nova and has distance markers for those keeping track. This is the westerly part of a larger trail around Richmond and is walkable year-round.

Always love a walk on the trail. A great family place to walk, play with rocks, see Eagles etc. One of my favourite places to go for a walk or bike ride.
