Returning to MSM this year marked our 15th anniversary of our pilgrimage for Quebec hills and snow. We thoroughly enjoyed our three days of skiing, each bliss with different weather and conditions. We appreciated our ski in and out condo off the Poma run. Not having to wear a mask this year was a great improvement over last year at peak pandemic mayhem. Our first day was powder conditions and thereafter we have perfect groomed trails. This year we noticed the improvements to Dustin Cook and the longer ski cross course. I would love to see a lift one day from Vanier base to Cheval Blanc summit. All of the MSM staff were amazing. Another improvement would be to allow purchase of tickets for more than one day, having to return to the concession everyday is such a kill of time, especially when the hill conditions are at their absolute best. I missed the top of Tornade being open but Mother Nature has been cruel this year with the sudden thaws and downpours. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Always a great ski option for those of us in the Ottawa area.*SPECIAL NOTE* 1/2 PRICE DEALS!!!!Last visit was April 01 2023. Half price lift tickets if you have a season pass to ANY other hill. Does not have to affiliated in any way. I imagine this is only a limited time spring promotion, but take advantage if you can!! (Wonder if Trembant is running same offer....hmmmmm.)

Best skiing in the Gatineau - Ottawa area. Good variety of runs from intermediate to advanced. Ski conditions are usually very good and staff are friendly and helpful. The lodge is older but has good atmosphere with a good view.

First time skiing in Quebec and we came across MSM and decided to try it out. It is definitely challenging if you are a beginner - at the top of the Vanier there are several Blues with flatter areas for slowing down, but they all merge into a steeper Blue that you have to take to get to the bottom. Meanwhile the only Green is the Promenade which is accessed by shuttle and is only worthwhile if it was your first or second time ever skiing IMO. I wish there was a run that was in between the difficulty of the Promenade and the Blues. My husband and I did the Vanier runs a few times on Day 1 and decided to get an instructor for Day 2, which was easily arranged at the ski school office. Our instructor (thanks Alain!) was very patient and gave us useful tips that helped us have more confidence and control on the slopes. The slopes are all long, scenic and well groomed (and challenging if you're a beginner like us). We got a lot of ski time even when the line for the lift was busy.

Nice hill, great skiing. I have been skiing here for years, and yes, it's a little pricey. However, the beginner hill (poma) was always free for the kids to lean. But, now it is 20$ per kid (which includes access to the tram area), but still, most kids don't ski all day, so it's kind of a waste of money.

I love this mountain, so fun to ride, but the restaurant is expensive. Some vegan options. The chairlift are fast.

Skiing here is fantastic !!Biggest ski hill in the area. It's well worth the drive.1 200 feet vertical. Good fall line skiing and double black diamond runs. This is a very fast hill !!Lots for everyone. I even saw a few real young ones taking this hill on (then again, there is no fear at 4 or 5 years old)Loved the variety and the longer runs. Will return for sure ... especially since the day rate is quite reasonable.

Best skiing in the area. Long trails and good variety of hills for different skill levels. Came here on a PD day with the kids and the hills were wide open. No line ups, sunny and warm. Friendly service at the rental counter.

Been coming here on and off for many years. In fact, this was the first place I tried skiing and snowboarding almost 20 years ago! Looking back, that was a mistake! MSM is by far best suited to intermediate and above skiers and riders.Other than that, I absolutely love it! Fast detachable chairs, rarely a long line, super fun on a snowboard. If you're a confident intermediate or advanced/expert rider then hit Cheval side in the morning before it gets skied out. Vanier side is fun any time of day and variations in terrain on the runs allow for some really fun lines. I'll MSM any day over Mt Tremblant, especially given the price. Hope this helps!!

Had a great time on this hill. Lots of blue runs and black diamonds. Lots of different routes to take. A little icy in some places but overall great experience. They have very comfortable rental skis as well. Good price for a day of fun and adventures.
