Dr. Sami Marqus' Diabetes and Metabolic Clinic

My first time meeting with dr Sami professionals staff friendlyHes dietitian and thyroid specialist he make me feel very comfortable highly recommended him.

Dr Marqus is an amazing man ,i came back from a vacation in mexico and on the second week back i was experiencing gas issues i could not get rid of.Upon him examining me he told me to directly to the hospital as he felt there was an issue with my pancreas. After spending hours at the hospital and doing multiple tests they gave me the bad news i had pancreatic cancer . I have since had chemotherapy, radiation,surgery and 2 years later im still here to tell you all this story,thank you dr marqus for being my doctor ,if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be here to tell this story and to everyone who has second thoughts ...don’t if you care about your health #1 Sami is the guy you want in your corner if its the fight of your life!Thanx Doc!

I was greeted with a very friendly and courteous staff and found the doctor to be very helpful in addressing my concerns. I am very happy to have been referred to him.He was able find a solution to my problem and got it under control. I am very pleased with my results.I found him to be very personable and understanding.

I have nothing but praise for the staff, very efficient, kind and courteous, but I do take umbrage with Dr. Marqus. He is a good doctor actually, so many of them have internalised biases about weight and health even when they should know better, but he doesn't. He understands that weight is a complex issue and will work with you on it. This is valuable and I won't take that away from him or argue that, however, I rate low because he could be more understanding of life circumstances. I was late to my appointment, having called ahead to inform them of it because it was raining and there was an accident on the highway. I left early to give myself extra time for the weather, but an accident and the resultant traffic were things beyond my control. When I got there he thoroughly humiliated me about it, asking repeatedly if I was okay that they had to cancel other appointments to accommodate me. Obviously, I was not (but I was coming from several municipalities away and was 80 bucks deep for an uber ride). It was mortifying. I was extremely apologetic, but again, despite my best efforts to get there on time, I was both dropped off at the wrong place by my driver who got there late and there was an accident on the highway.He didn't care and simply said People give themselves three hours to get to the airport" like that was actionable advice.So

Dr. Marqus is a fantastic doctor. I successfully lost 30lbs following his guidance. He is pleasant and very thorough which lead to him discovering things regarding my health that no other medical professional found.I would highly recommend him. He also does phone appointments during Covid-19 which is very convenient.

Dr. Marqus was quickly able to diagnose the conditions and started the treatment which showed immediate results. The medication was bit expensive and Dr. Marqus helped me with medicine when I lost my job and insurance during COVID. He is a good Doctor and a caring person.

I have started seeing Dr. Marquis now 3 weeks. Very knowledgeable, caring, and thorough physician. Takes his time in explaining and educating his patients for his reasoning for each test and treatment.I am seeing positive results in such a short period.Definitely recommend.
