This Shoppers is selling Gift Cards that have been tampered with and not doing anything to help those who purchased them. I recommend buying the cards from the actual retailer to avoid throwing your money away.

The pharmacy at this location is beyond deplorable. Arrogant pharmacist and slothful, insenseive staff. I can appreciate tech glitches, staffing issues and medication shortages....what I will not accept is a clear disrespect for a clients time and well being. I was told it would take one hour to fill my prescription. Upon arrival nothing was ready, staff was in no rush, questions about mu child's weight and age were being asked...which would have been provided by my doctor....just ridiculous. After 35 minutes of waiting i was given my daughter's prescription with no consultation from the pharmacist....who was too important to interact with any of his customers. When I arrived home and opened the bag the prescription said please see written note for directions....and none were included.My daughter is 2 years old with a viral infection. To wait in a pharmacy when I simply could have been told over the phone what the realistic wait was is unacceptable. This is a routine issue here and my entire family will be pulling our portfolio to another location.Mistakes happen.....but the unapologetic lack of respect and ownership for this disgusting customer service is here is noteworthy.I implore you to support ANY other pharmacy than this one!

honestly the worst shoppers in Cambridge, the cosmetic workers are always suspiciously following you around for no reason even when you tell them you don't need assistance. They are rude for no reason, especially to students. Very unprofessional and no customer service whatsoever. The owner just stands around watching customers have a bad experience. I'm not recommending anyone to go here from now on...

This was a few weeks ago, so hopefully they fixed the issue. They don't do plastic bags anymore, which is fine by me. But unfortunately they didn't seem prepared and didn't have any reusable bags to sell. So I had to awkwardly carry a bunch of items out.I'm not impressed by the prices and selection of anything in these stores. I often go in and leave with nothing because it's either out of stock or insanely expensive.

What a joke this shoppers is store # 1257, Cambridge Ont. on Franklin Rd. I've been a customer at this location for almost 35 YEARS!! spending at least THOUSANDS per year. Recently I had a very terrible experience all because I wanted to return a product that was 50% off of which the total purchase price was $6.00. 4 bars. I purchased 5 protein bars, tried one and it was very stale, past its best before date, I know what they taste like as I purchase them frequently. I asked if I can return the product because it was very stale and that I would like to replace them with other fresher bars. I explained my reasoning to the supervisor and she said very arrogantly, that she wouldn't do it because they were 50% off, Really?Very rude as well, she didn't even say hello how can I help you, instead It felt like I was wasting her time, and didn't appreciate me for being a customer for over 35 years, all because of a $ 6.00 return. Her customer service is one of the worst I've ever experienced in my life. It's like she was never trained on how to provide customer service especially on a managerial position. Other retail chains offer exchanges no questions asked. To name a few Zehrs, Costco, Home Depot. No Frills. Actually I've noticed since management has changed at this Location, customer service has reduced dramatically. I've been in retail myself for over 20 Years and we always made sure the customers have had a very pleasurable experience, knowing that they are very loyal to our business in the long run. All for $6.00 exchange compared to thousands of thousands spent over 35 Years! What a joke this store is.

Worst service ever! They are suppose to be open till 12 but guess what no one wants to work past 8 guess they are too good to work. Shoppers need to hire new supervisors/managers who are willing to work and provide service to customer.

Review applies to Pharmacy only. Too many medication mistakes, poor communication between employees and customers, handling of pills with bare hands is a total turn off. Left this pharmacy for another for those reasons.

Went to fill a prescription and provided my wife's benefits info. They tried to put it through and informed me it said the patient is not eligible. Told them my wife had benefits and we've claimed before. They told me to call my provider. They were closed and my wife has step throat so I paid for the prescription. Calling my provider they advised my wife has full coverage and the pharmacy hadn't actually tried to put anything on my drug plan. They advised the error was due to invalid information. So the pharmacy entered incorrect info. Not that my wife has no coverage. I won't bother trying to explain this to the pharmacist and waste my time in the store. I've filed a claim online with my provider with my wife's correct info and will wait for reimbursement. Just another reason not to bother overpaying for prescriptions at any Shoppers Drug Mart. Try Cosfco (no membership required) or better yet call a locally owned pharmacy and give them your money instead. As least they care and are competent at doing their jobs.

Absolutely terrible customer service.I was trying to return an item which was apparently seasonal although purchased just 2 days prior, however this location seems to have a policy where they do not take seasonal items despite the item being defective and never having stated it’s final sale at the time of purchase.I escalated to speak to a supervisor since 1) the receipt states purchases within 30 days with receipt are permitted for return and 2) the item was defective on opening.The cashier in training was lovely and empathetic however “supervisor” Carley is the worst representation of this company and should be retrained on customer service basics or rethink her choice of working in retail in a customer-facing role. As she approached me there was no how can I help you or greeting of any kind. She looked at the item then me and said “it’s final sale so there’s nothing for you to argue with me.” She also asked me to go back to the location where I purchased it to “argue it with them”. Absolutely stunned as a long time SDM customer since I’ve never experienced more terrible customer service anywhere.It was clearly not worth her time and therefore wouldn’t be worth mine, so I took my item to another location where they returned the item without a fuss.Good luck to the poor woman in training and thank you for your kindness. Maybe you’d be better off at another location too.
