Eastbound International Speedway and Concert Park

Attended Monster Truck Madness on August 13 at this venue. The event itself was fine but the event staff have no idea how to run an event space like this. Lineups to get in were long and disorganized, people were sneaking in through gaps in the fence. The venue had posted on social media that no outside food was allowed, but upon arrival no one was checking bags to enforce, and it took well over 90 minutes to get through the line at the food truck to get overpriced french fries ($7!) and a $3 bottle of water. I missed the second half of the show waiting in line for food for my children. The venue then posted for the Aug 14 show that small coolers and outside food was allowed this time... Very frustrating and disappointed that the venue changed their rules on the fly after such an awful experience yesterday.Several people who attended the event yesterday have been voicing their dissatisfaction with the rule change on the venue's social media page, and the venue just keeps deleting the comments because they don't want to address them or otherwise apologize.Do yourself a favour and take your $200 and go whale watching or something like that... Even if you don't see a whale you'll be less disappointed than I was with eastbound park. I will never go back and I will discourage all my friends and family from visiting due to this poor experience and the venue's attempt to blatantly ignore dissatisfied customers.Wouldn't surprise me if they try to have this review deleted or leave a rude reply - only to further prove my point that they are a money grabbing sham

The fact that there is a legit international raceway just 40mins outside of St John's, NL is the coolest thing in the world. Just 10mins outside of Holyrood, this modern venue hosts Nascar stock car, Legend, Hobby and kid classes. Will take time to get the proper concessions up... we couldn't buy a souvenir hat or t shirt. Fun day of racing and very affordable for the family!

Mismanaged. They would rather charge 20 or 30 dollars and have 100 people show up than charge 5 or 10 and have thousands of spectators. Make it affordable for everyone. Most families with 2 or 3 kids cannot afford $20 or 30 per person plus food etc. The track was built to hold a lot more spectators than you actually end up having out there. If you make it affordable, you'll fill the bleachers and in turn make more money. If you have a family of 5 people, even at $20 a head, that's $100 just for admission alone, not many people can afford that. Then they have to pay for food, drinks, gas to get there etc. If you make ticket prices super cheap, you'll get a better turnout, more people = more sales of tickets, food, merchandise etc. It's a win win situation because you already have all of that room/seating that's not being used every event. Would you rather have 100 people spending an average of $40/$50 per person ($4,000 or $5,000 ish) or would you rather have a thousand people spending an average of $20 per person? ($20,000). You have the facilities to hold a lot more than what is currently showing up, you're not meeting the full potential of the track and the main reason is most people can't afford it. Especially in today's economy. This is coming from someone who desperately wants to see you succeed. It's a beautiful facility with so much potential.

Been there many times. Back in the days of the derby. Used to have a lot of fun. Was back there for the monster trucks this pass Saturday & have to say customer service isn’t their top priority. They over sold shows and line ups for food were the length of the show(1.5 hours and still no food for the kids) weren’t allowed to bring in food.Can’t leave reviews on there Facebook page & they moved any negative post. We were looking forward to the drag races on the 21 but decided it ain’t worth our time & don’t want to spend money on a business where they don’t treat customers fairly.

Would highly recommend paying the extra for designated seating, general seating is very crammed and if you get up you lose your seat.

Fun... but no beer? It's a speedway, lol! Literally goes hand in hand. Also, food trucks take cash only? It's 2022 b'ys. Other than that, good stands, great view, professional announcers, and loud engines. Can't complain too much.

Great place to watch some fast cars and have fun at the same time. Highly recommended.

Had a great time...my first time watching drag racing and the burnouts were awesome!
