OC Transpo Lost and Found

I dont know what the deal is with the staff there. They need to check their attitude or maybe theyve been at this job too long. Most who pick up are SUPER rude and not empathetic in any way. There is one lady with a super thick accent who outright laughed when i told her the brand name of the purse i lost. I guess she thought the name was funny. Doesnt matter. Be a little kinder and understanding as when someone loses something, no matter how small, it can turn their life upside down and you dont know what theyre dealing with. Be kind is all i ask, please.

I just left my rain coat on May 19, 2022 on a bus. on the next day, I called this office and they confirmed my rain coat was there. I went there and the young lady treated very well. I am happy to find my rain coat and happy with their behavior. Do not forget to have a piece of ID.

The people working for the O.C. Transpo lost and found are under the umbrella of the Heartwood House. I got off a bus in downtown Ottawa, and IMMEDIATELY realized that my wallet was still along for the ride on the aforementioned bus. I was bummed out but everything I lost can be replaced. I decided (for the first time since taking public transportation) that I would call the lost and found at O.C. Transpo. I have lost many things on busses over the years, ESPECIALLY cell phones, and assume it's just going to be taken by a stranger.To my amazement, when inquiring about my wallet over the phone (two days later obviously, as it needs times to find it's away to McArthur Ave.), I was met with the words congratulations Ryan

No will listen on regular transit. I am tired of I pay my presto yet so many just walk on free. May be it is time for free trsnsit, but the problem is combo with all the people on opioid crazy on bus and train. Who wants that. OC tries and not the drivers fault to engage drugging up people but I see so many just walk on. Yet I pay. Something is amiss. No one wants to adress the connection to the drug use users and opioid, and why the hell do I want to use public transportation. I would but , seen enough

I lost my wallet and got it back 4 days later intact! Nothing missing! Thank you to the person who turned it in and thanks OC Lost N Found!

Couldn't find any of the buses that keep getting lost

Every time I called them, they spoke with me nicely.. but some of them are careless.. they received my backpack just the next day after I lost it.. but whenever I used to call them, they said haven’t received it yet, which means they were careless enough to search properly.. speechless!!On my third day, a different lady picked up the phone and she found it after searching for 5min.. I visited later that afternoon and collected my item.. they were fast

Whoever the lady on the other side of the phone is, she needs to either change job or improve her attitude, very rude and unsupportive during the phone call, she does not listen to what you have to say and give directions and instructions in a rude way. However the staff in the pick up office is the total opposite, very professional, friendly and informative. I got my item back but definitely that lady on the phone made my experience worse than what it already was.
