I came in with vibrant red/orange hair looking for something to touch up my roots. I took the recommendation of one of their staff and it did nothing but strip my existing color. DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE WANNA BE HAIR STYLISTS.

Helpful staff. Good service. Lots of items to choose lots of variety

Today (July 22, 2022) I asked the cashier with red-coloured hair if she was able to give me a toner recommendation. She said yes, but told me that I can't use toner on my hair as it's too dark. I've been using toner on my hair for year's and it turns out beautifully however I am not happy with the current brand I use as their formula seems off lately. She said I should use a demi to get my roots. I told her no that's not what im looking for. I don't want my roots or natural hair colour changed, im looking to tone the blonde. She said well it won't work her mom" is a hairdresser and she knows what she's talking about. She was unpleasant and turned me off from continuing to browse as my kids also wanted a couple of items. We have decided to go elsewhere. Another customer who is a hair stylist disagreed and offered to help but I politely declined. Poor customer service is a turn-off. I'd rather spend money somewhere else. Attached a photo of my hair for reference."

I went to Sally today to get an advice for highlighting my hair for the first time and Sophia helped me all the way through, gave me honest opinion, great information, she seems knowledgeable about it and overall she gave me a super good service.

The girls were acting like what I wanted didn't matter. Red head kept saying mom is a hair stylist so she know. They recommended products without even knowing what I really wanted from my hair. Products sucked for me. They sucked. This was on a Saturday 12 to 2 pm dec 10th. The red head and brunette have sticks up their butts.

I asked if they carried a product and the staff member reacted as if she was offended by my question because they do not carry said product. Did not offer a suggestion.. nothing just plain rude :)

The staff here honestly aren’t friendly or helpful and I’d recommend going to any other location… unless you wanna get ignored/walked away from.

I went into the Abbotsford store & found a starter kit (applicator, toner, etc. Also came with your choice of color) for $12.99. One of the customer service girls came along & said I don't think that is the right price". Although the description was correct on the shelf & matched the product she denied me the advertised price & said it is $21.99 It wasn't the money that made me leave but the point. Who does that? Not going back. There are so many other places to go. Terrible customer service."

Sally Beauty has been a great place to find inexpensive tools for hair styling, coloring, nails and most other beauty relax stuff. Today I was shopping for nail emery boards and spent way too much time looking for something that wasn't there and settled on something else. The staff were very nice but they just didn't have what I came for this time. I also wanted a diffuser attachment for the hair dryer and they didn't have much to choose from either. If the inventory matched the staff's enthusiasm, this would be an awesome shop.
