I had an emergent gas leak. Poor customer service, couldn't book me in for over a week, never disclosed fees for service call, told me that I'd be in the .01%" that they didn't tell because they "always" do (they did not)

Shortly after 4:30pm on a weeknight, we were informed that there was a gas leak and the gas company shut off the gas. As some may have experienced, this leaves the home owner to find a solution. Find someone who answers the phone and can help. At this point, our grandchildren and mom were out of the house. We made a list and started to make some calls. Jason from W J Barnes called us back within minutes and was able to attend the home within 30 minutes. He fixed the leak and the gas was tuned on. The costs for the repair were very reasonable. W J is fair, responsive and professional. Truly, understands customer service. Thanks Jason - appreciated! I would recommend W J Barns for any service they offer.

Once the call was made, we had Jeremy at the house to quote a new furnace. He was very kind and patient and answered all of my questions...having never purchased a furnace before, he was very understanding. Once we made the choice to go ahead, we had out new furnace installed within days. The installers were so polite and careful. They did an immaculate job with the install and the clean up. Great place do deal with. Friendly people . Workers were efficient and reliable. I've been dealing with them since I was a young adult if you can't find the parts they can. I highly recommend.

Definitely would not recommend- I have been waiting for parts for a dishwasher covered under warranty for 6 months that were on backorder- when they finally came in I took the day off and the technician came in with the wrong part! Now I continue to wait with no solution as of yet. Also they wouldn’t give me work order/ part numbers until the 10th phone call as I was trying to get dishwasher replaced by manufacturer.
