Sweet and Savoury Pie Company

Pies are good. The tip option on interact asks for percentage starting at 15% or dollar amount. A $6.15 tip for handing me 2 pies from freezer is a little much.Since I can’t respond I’ll clarify here. I would take my feedback into consideration and not get defensive. I had the option to tip a percentage starting at 15% or dollar value. I suppose I could have pressed the dollar value and entered $0. Simply bypassing the tip was not an option. Maybe someone is playing with the machines when you are not there. I can see another complaint commenting the same thing.

Good tarts and I hope to be back to try some more of their pies. A little pricey - my pair of tarts cost $7.50. One star off just because the payment machine prompted for a tip which just makes the transaction awkward. If they removed this, I'd give 5 stars.

My butter tart was very good (the skor butter tart)....just needed a coffee to have with it... although the pies looked really good I found them a bit to high priced for me...so I never got one

Purchased a delicious pie today no doubt about that BUT found it very disappointing that when you pay via debit machine there is a tip part (NOT OPTION) as a tip should ALWAYS be- the only way to not tip is to ask the staff to by pass it on their end which I just think is crazy for a bakery not a restaurant or personal service where you knowingly expect to tip at….the pies are already priced at a very high rate 20$ for a regular sized pie…I just think a place making so much money off of EVERY product they offer should definitely not expect a tip and certainly should not be asking for one…..something is wrong with that and because of that I will not be shopping there again unless they correct thisSince I can’t reply I’ll just clarify for the owner who thinks that if you don’t tip someone you don’t appreciate them doing a job- I appreciate fast food employees but they don’t ask me for a tip every time I’m there - I appreciate grocery store clerks as well but they also don’t ask for a tip I think employers need to start taking care of their employees and not expect customers to do so - greedy business do not recommend supporting them that’s why I give 1 star

AMAZING pies. We got a steak and Guinness savoury pie and the banana cream pie. The savoury pie wasn’t warmed, but it was still delicious cold. The banana cream pie was great as is. Definitely recommend!

Delicious pies and tarts! Prices are a little more then you would pay at the grocery store but the quality and taste are by far better! Get there early if you want a selection as they do sell out fast.

Great Pies! We tried 2 so far, both the chicken pot pie & steak and guiness pie were wonderful. Amazing pie crusts! We shopped at Blackstone location in Waterloo & will be returning soon.

Preordered a family size butter chicken pie for pick up today, and couldn’t help but grab some of their amazing looking tarts as well. I’m usually a purist but WOW the skor butter tarts were divine. Not sickeningly sweet and the pie pastry was so delightfully flaky. Cassy served me today and was so helpful. Great addition to the Blackstone plaza!

Their chicken pot pies are the perfect comfort food to pick up after a busy day! Our whole family enjoys them. Their strawberry pies are also a family favourite as a summer time treat!
