Wass Ethiopian Restaurant
So glad we decided to try out this place tonight! This is an absolute gem in hamilton - the food is so flavourful, unique and the staff/service is really friendly.We didn’t know if the combo alone would be good for us, but it was more than enough! The food came out quick and you could tell it was fresh.Looking forward to coming back!

It's a very unassuming place, but I tried the mixed platter and it was sensational !Fantastic service and pleasant atmosphere.Easy to be shared between 2-4people.

My FAVOURITE spot in Hamilton. I have been eating here for over a decade and have always gotten outstanding service and delicious meals. I am vegetarian and always order the veggie combo. The amount of food and variety that comes with the price is excellent. Thank you always wass :)

Highly recommend it. Nice atmosphere and good service. Food portions are big and Ethiopian spices will be loved by your taste buds.

Great food and nice staff! We shared a veggie and meat platter for 3 and it was more than enough. We were given a pro tip to use the injera (sourdough bread) at the bottom instead of ordering more and it was delicious!

Wass Ethiopian Restaurant
First time at this restaurant today as we always go to Toronto for Ethiopian cuisine. Food was really great and the place is clean but what made the experience much enjoyable was provided by the service attendant, YONAS! He was A M A Z I N G! Very respectful, attentive and professional!I will definitely go back with the kids and friends! Go and try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Service and food are superb. I walked in with my 12 years old kid not sure what to expect. It was his first time to try Ethiopian food and he loved it. The staff is very friendly. They even offered us complimentary side dish to try. Highly recommend.

First time having Ethiopian food, I had always heard about it but the very first time digging into the platter.The owner of the place was very kind and the service was very quick. My friends and I ordered a platter comprising of both meats and veggies on it. It was SO GOOD. Not a single item on that platter that I didn't like. The meats were stewed for a long time so the meat was falling off the bone. We even got extra injera, and the injera was very good. Soft, and perfect to soak up all of the lentils and curry that's on top of it. My friends and I cleaned up that platter.Would definitely come back for a future time!

I felt at home the second I walked into this restaurant, they treat their customers with real care. I dined on my own and my waiter consistently checked on me to make sure I was doing okay.The food… phenomenal. So full of flavour, and healthy! I had the Veggie combo and loved the combination of flavours between beans, salads and all the spices.I’ll definitely be back! Make sure you try Ethiopian food if you haven’t yet. This is your place to go.
