Very cool owner and staff. Unique items, great to find cool jewelry, sweaters, headware, etc. Has a smaller area dedicated to smoking accessories. Very fair prices, and they take care of packaging your gift whether you're spending $10 or $100. Worth stopping by, for sure.

Nice little record store. Some truly good finds at this place. Owner is chill and knows his stuff. Staff can let you play a disc and see if you like it.

Had an incredible experience in this store. My wife and I went into the store looking for some sunglasses and the lady working did everything she could to make sure we got a pair of glasses that we liked. And at an incredible price! Will be back for sure

This is one of my favourite stores for quirky and unique gifts. One of my favourite buys was an awesome pill case with a vintage vampire as the design on the face. I feel very badass every time I grab an Advil.

This store is great, I'll always stop in while in Osborne. The lady who owns it is super sweet and she even lets her dogs loose in the store if you're comfortable with them! Trust me, they are harmless. As for the product, everyone will find something they like here. It's different, not something you would easily find somewhere else! Check it out

Super friendly helpful staff, unique one of a kind stock. Some items can be customised such as mugs, water bottles and hats. I've been going to this store for more then 20 years and is my favourite store in Osborne village.

Urban Waves is one of my go to shops for gifts. The owner and all the staff are great. Very down to earth, helpful and never pushy with sales. The prices are very fair, especially for Osborne. The owner did custom work for me twice, with hats and mugs and I was very pleased with everything. The book Ts are unique and beautiful and make perfect gifts. I love shopping at Urban Waves.

Urban Waves is one of the most infamous shops on Osborne @Wardlaw in Winnipeg. Collectable Ts, cups, wild magnets, jewelry and a funky atmosphere that is missing in many shops in the city. It is still going after 25 years (think New York cool in Wpg...) at Urban Waves and also has Old Gold Vintage in the same space now which has an exceptional (excuse the pun) record...of providing the best in vinyl. This is an incredible duo at 187 Osborne that you should shop at and out of towners should visit. A gem in the village...you can go pickup a slice of cake after at Baked Expectations. Absolutely C O O L PS: there is always something new bubbling that is expertly curated by the owner and presented in a way that will blow you away.
