I visited the store to replace my watch battery and inquire about the cost of adding diamonds to my gold ring. Initially, the lady attending to me (who was of Asian descent) informed me that they were extremely busy and asked if I preferred to wait or return at another time. I chose to wait, but later I noticed that she wasn't assisting any other customers. In a polite manner, I asked her to help me with the battery replacement. However, she responded by explaining that she couldn't assist me because she had two jobs. This was quite disappointing since she wasn't occupied with another client at that moment. Consequently, I decided to leave the establishment and have no intention of returning. It's possible that their prices are similar to those of jewelry stores in downtown Vancouver.

Beautiful quality jewelry (18k) and great service for all of your jewelry needs. I think the one negative review is more an issue with the customer and their treatment of the piece ( no excessive chlorine or bleach should be used regularly) My family has numerous beautiful pieces in our possession, some from the 60’s and have maintained their quality for years. and J&M did so so well with their customer special thanks to crystal

I had a specific request for a unique custom piece of jewellery and I couldn’t have found a better person to do it. Crystal is highly skilled and a true professional. She is also exceptionally easy to work with. A true pleasure. The ring she made was even better than the one had imagined. I would HIGHLY recommend Crystal and J&M for any all your jewellery needs.

I came to J&M Coin & Jewellery due to Royal Canadian Mint having a special event at the store.I waited in line for about an hour to exchange 2 toonies for the black rim toonies commemorating the death of Queen Elizabeth.Inside, the store was clean and bright. They had estate jewelry and a variety of coins on display for sale. The staff were friendly and made my experience feel welcoming.

Of the six jewellers and retail stores that I visited when I was looking for an engagement ring, Krystal was the only person that laid out honest prices for a range of diamonds with the design I had in mind. The diamonds I looked at were far better quality and more affordable then anything I saw at the other stores. Krystal wasn’t pushy, made the whole process of creating a ring easy, and was a pleasure to work with. The ring turned out perfectly and I came away from the experience feeling that Krystal was trustworthy and someone I will definitely come back to in the future. People routinely tell my fiancé how beautiful her ring is, and how they have never seen anything like it before.

I attempted to sell some collectable bills here, I had called first, the receptionist told me I should talk to X person but they werent there yet so call back in 10 minutes. Called back in 15 minutes asking for X and spoke to someone about my items. Was told to come in and that theyd pay 80 - 100 $ for them. Came into the store, which understandably had high security, very neat, organized and interesting store. Waited for 10 minutes to speak to X and when someone came to speak to me they said they never spoke to me on the phone, it must have been someone else. Weird. Either way they looked at my items and after another 15 minutes of waiting was told they were worth no more than 6 - 8 $ because whomever i spoke to on the phone previously must have misunderstood my (what i think were clear as glass) description of the item, but they were totally different. It was 4, uncut american dollar bills with certificate of authenticity and they thought it was 10 canadian 1 dollar bills.All in all nice store, relatively nice staff, just some communication issues, and lots of waiting around.

We have ordered twice from J&M with Krystal and have received beautiful jewelry both times. Shipping is fast and both times came with a handwritten thank you note. We will continue to purchase. very recommend deal with Krystal she gave me very good price.

I worked with Crystal on both a engagement ring and wedding ring for both of us.Crystal was able to determine my wife’s style based off what I told her and what I explained in a two paragraphs. My wife was so happy with her ring. I was able to design my wedding band. I used circuit board in the band and Crystal didn’t blink an eye about including the material. A friend of ours just had her make their rings too.There’s something about a ring that is only yours. Not one anybody can get, even at Tiffany’s.I appreciate her work and would recommend her!

I’ve had custom made jewellery (a pair of earrings in 2015 and, more recently, my engagement ring) done from two different artists and both times were great experiences.Crystal did my ring and it’s incredible. The pieces on the shelves also have a wide range of personality and style made by her who care about their craft and clients.

I recently ordered 2 wedding bands from Krystal at J&M. She is very professional and efficient. I told her I only have a week time to get both bands before our wedding. She delivered them with engraving on our bands on time and made things happened for us. We are so happy. Thank you so much.
