DO NOT ORDER BOUILLON FROM THERE, A BROTH FULL OF OIL, LITTLE MEAT MOSTLY BONES, ONLY DUMPLINGS ...VERY DISAPPOINTING...AND THE BEST, THEY FORGOT THE REST OF MY ORDER...PLATE OF GOAT, MALTA DRINK AND A PATTY. SI NOU PA KON FÈ MANJÉ PA RÉLÉ TÈT NOU RESTORATÈ...APRAN ANVAN APRÈ NAP WÈ...NOW I WILL SEE IF I WILL GET THE REST OF MY FOOD...ILL KEEP U GUYS POSTED FOR AN UPDATE.

Marché Casse-Croûte Le Griot
Having eaten griot riz collé in many places in the greater Montreal area, I can say the fruit here is very good, it’s the fried to perfection. The plantings are great also and the riz collé is one of the best ones, a lot of beans and flavour. The only thing I find there’s room for improvement is the Pikliz. It’s missing carrots and not spicy enough. Going to eat here again.

The staff was very nice, but the place was extremely dirty, unorganized and unkept. The griot had no flavour at all and was really tough. The plantain however was amazing! I won’t be going back here. Just not worth the money. I’ll stick with Marche des Antilles which is a little higher up but really worth your dollar.

Ordered two times from there and both times the food was absolutely tasteless, griot was literally dry , rice was dry and both times they forgot the drinks….. we called them and they always say it’s the delivery guy’s fault and not theirs…. Stay away from this place… they are thieves and the food is disgusting

I ordered from Uber Eats as I had no idea what the food was gonna taste like but since it ranked higher on the list I picked this restaurant! Big mistake! I ordered a plate of goat, one of chicken and Fritay plate with griot. They somehow mixed the griot and the goat, then the chicken had a foul odor, still in the fridge but I think I'm gonna throw it away!I've also ordered 3 pâtés Kòde" thinking I was gonna really enjoy them but I was so disappointed. They were not fully cooked

From all the restaurant i have been too in Montreal, This is where the food is fresh and more tasty. I seen the bad review here??? Only from the competitors who are jealous that for once there a chef who doesn't cut corner.

ordered food from there and got it delivered to my house with missing sauces for my 5 plates and also missing piklies.. griot was filled only with fat and i had the bad luck of finding 2 hairs in my food to top it off... i do not recommend ordering from this place.
