Regent Student Living

For student living, this is perfect. Furnished, affordable, staff is super helpful and prompt in dealing with issues that arise. They were more than accommodating to help with roommate issues and offered support in any way they could. The building is secure and well maintained and the ladies in the office are wonderful!!

Horrible management. Some student pulled a water sprinkler during exam season and it wet the entire building had water damage. One roommate got relocated to another location and a week later they informed us that the whole building is getting torn down and they’d accommodate us and relocate us to another building. Keep in mind the building is majorly international students with no family/furniture so most of us have no options. Tried talking to management and Alex was extremely rude and not empathetic at all. She was extremely condescending the whole time. The unit we got relocated into was not sanitary at all. They reimbursed with a $100 gift card to make up for disruption during exams and making students move against their will. DO NOT stay here. Recommend Lofts or living on the streets than this. Also your packages will get stolen everytime and management will not take responsibility and ask you to involve police. There are also unhoused people in the lobby during winter months with no security in sight. The whole management/building is a hot boiling mess.

Lived here for two unfortunate years. Only time you can get a hold of management is when they need rent. Hailey and Alex are TERRIBLE as managers especially in a building full of students. Neighbour’s were breeding dogs for months and entered our apartment multiple times when we opened the door to walk out. Building had water damage so we got a weeks notice to relocate against our will into apartments that were nasty and Alex told us “we gave u an option, it’s a yes or a no it’s not that difficult”. Horrible management.

I’ve been living here at regent for quite a while now since 2018. And I like the apartment in overall. They have almost everything included, gym, common lounge, hydro, electricity and utilities bills, parking is extra but it’s reasonable compared to many other places I see right now they’re raising up the price so high after the lockdown. Looking back, regent is one of my best favourite places to live in. They get the maintenance requests handled fast and organized. The ladies in the office are always welcoming and helpful with our questions/problems/concerns, and when I have roommate issues too. Thank you so much Aimee for your help every time I need. Aimee is amazing, wonderful, genuine and responsive with my questions. I’d very much appreciate it for this long time I’ve been living here.

What else can I say besides: what an absolute clown show. Dear God. I would not wish living at Regent against my worst enemy. If you enjoy absolutely no response or correspondence whatsoever from management, then this place is perfect for you!Avoid at all costs. Please.

I lived at regent for 2 years while attending university and can honestly say it was the best 2 years of my undergraduate experience! The staff was so friendly and welcoming (Hailey, the manager, was there to support me during a lot of personal issues I was dealing with..shes the BEST), the living accommodations were beautiful, the study rooms were sooo nice when I needed a getaway from studying in my apartment, the gym was SUCH a plus and my roommates became lifelong friends of mine. I genuinely have nothing bad to say at all. Miss you regent!!

pretty nice units with all utilities included in price i like how the office staff is quick to address concerns and is always professional and nice to the tenants. the maintainance guy wayne is always super friendly and and goes above and beyond to help make sure all your problems are solved in the units, he remembers everyone’s names and always has a smile on his face. i like how the office staff run giveaways each month and do prizes for elf on the shelf at christmas time

Do not live here. Management is never available and extremely rude when you ask for help. Hailey and Alex are unnecessarily rude when you tell them your packages were stolen from the lobby INSIDE the building right outside their office. Forced us to relocate to nastier apartments with garbage laying around. Please don’t send your kids to live here, it’s horrible

Highly recommend Regent, everyone in the office is very friendly and always willing to assist. The building is clean and the socal events are a great way to meet others in the building. They are quick to address issues within the unit etc. Love the news letters with receipes etc.

5 Stars! The staff have always been very friendly, I’ve dealt with Hailey before, and she was very helpful. The building is always clean, never any issues, highly recommend for anyone interested.
