The best diner in Oshawa! I can't say enough good things about this place. Great food, great service, great memories. Try anything on the breakfast menu -- you won't be disappointed! For lunch or dinner, anything from their Treehouse sandwich to a classic cheeseburger and fries and you will leave full and happy. Don't get me started on their Eggs Benedict, which some people drive in from Toronto to have! Go once to say you did, come back because you won't be able to resist! Rainbow is the best around!

WOW!! We heard good things from friends, which made us excited to stop in and try. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is a true diner experience. The portion sizes are unreal which equal tremendous value. Whatever meal you order, I’m pretty sure you’ll have enough for a take home meal as well. Not just a huge portion, the flavour is there too! They have a unique menu with many items that piqued our interest… we will be back to try more!

This has been our favourite breakfast place for years and they never disappoint. The food is amazing with very large portions. And we always feel taken care of every time we go with great service.

Friendly staffs, huge quantity, delicious breakfast with a lot of options. Free Parking at rear on weekends, walk-ins accepted. They only accept Debit or Cash. Loved the interior, it has been telling a lot of stories since a little over 6 decades. I truly admire the family for maintaining the legacy for such a long time.

My husband and I absolutely love the food at the Rainbow Restaurant. It's hands down one of our absolute favorite breakfast spots. The peameal bacon is hand cut and literally the size of pork chops! We are big eaters and are never able to finish even half of our plate of food.

My partner and I eat here practically every Saturday and Sunday. We absolutely love the Eggs Benny... Service is great , portion sizes are huge and quality is amazing. I highly, highly recommend !

This restaurant is a local favorite for sure. It has a lot of history and they show it.For me the food was average, the portion were good. The price was too high, as I'm used to being able to get a three egg and bacon breakfast special for $10 or less. You won't find that here.If you like ok food and a lot of nostalgia then this is the place for you. If you want good food at good rates then there are others in Oshawa that are better suited.
