I received several quotes for my project but M&S came in with the best price, the most details, and seemed to sincerely care about my business.Throughout the planning phase, Sam came around to meet in person with samples and to hear my vision, which he executed beautifully on time and on budget. The professionalism and interaction with the whole crew was also above board and am already planning to have them return next year for a backyard upgrade.Services included new porch in composite with railings, new stone walkways, garden beds and reseeding grass.

Our experience with Sam and his team was excellent. Our project included natural stone retaining walls and steps, wooden fences, installing glass railings, lifting and re-laying interlock patio and driveway, building and planting gardens in the front yard and back, laying sod for the back lawn, and installing French drains including burying one in a channel within cement steps. Sam's designs, recommendations, and consultation with us ensured we got a beautiful result that exceeded our expectations. The work was done methodically, with care and an attention to detail that made sure everything was completed to a high standard. During the project Sam was patient and attentive to our questions and communicated regularly so we understood the work being done, why, and to ensure our consultation and agreement with any adjustments. We cannot recommend M&S Landscaping enough.

Right from the beginning Sam was a pleasure to deal with. He had great enthusiasm towards the project and offered many ideas/options for our landscaping design. He showed up when he said he would and answered all calls quickly. The work ethic was excellent, they kept everything neat and tidy as the job progressed. He has an amazing team. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and always took the time to answer all my questions (I asked a ton of questions) and address any concerns. My experience with Sam and his team was extremely positive and I love the transformation of my front yard. Prior to the start of the project, Sam was very responsive and had no issues going back and forth on the details to ensure I would be happy with the final outcome. They were actually able to start my project earlier than intended and even though it was an extremely difficult job (which included the removal of an large dead tree stump), they worked tirelessly to get the job done in a reasonable timeframe.The work completed included a brand new stone walkway, removing the tree stump and lowering the lawn, laying grass and rebuilding the stairs and front porch enclosure. It was beautifully done and the front of my house has been completely transformed. Many of my neighbours have commented on how amazing it looks!Working with Sam was truly a pleasure and I look forward to future projects with him and his team!

We hired M&S to complete a refresh of our front yard. The project involved redoing stone work up approximately 14 stairs with 3 landings, metal railings down the stairs, removing and re-mortaring and existing stone wall and levelling the yard and laying sod. Sam and his team were extremely professional during the project and left a clear area when they finished each day. The project went smoothly and Sam kept us updated at each step. Where I put was required, Sam sought it in a timely manner.We added a few requests as the project went along and Sam was able to accommodate those in each case. We are very happy with the end result and have received many compliments from our neighbours on the overhaul of our yard. Sam has an eye for design and is attentive to detail. We would recommend Sam for any or all of the above and would hire him again in the future.

Sam and his screw did an amazing job. Right from the start, Sam made sure to work with me to find a solution to work with my budget. He was attentive, kind and dedicated to making sure he got the job done correctly. Sam and his team were excellent. Right now the trades can be very unreliable, this was not the case with Sam and his team. They were onsite daily at 8am and completed our project promptly and professionally. Sam and his entire team were a pleasure to work with. During the quoting/estimation process we did have to go back and forth a number of times to ensure that we had articulated our ask and everything was to spec as desired. This was to be expected and Sam was very accommodating with that process. He helped us achieve what we were looking for with our backyard.M&S is not the cheapest landscaping option available but you get what you pay for and my wife and I believe that Sam’s price was worth the end product that he and his team delivered. I would certainly recommend Sam and his team at M&S to anyone who is looking to do landscaping work on their property.

Sam said I would not be disappointed with my new fence. He did exactly that.I had my concerns as I had personally built my previous fence over 30 years ago and wanted a replacement that looked just as good as my earlier design and that would last at least that long again.Sam and his team were able to provide me with a good looking fence. We will have to wait and see how it lasts, but the I know the workmanship and his attention to the details are evident to me for a good start. Together, we were able to constructively resolve the minor issues that always arise with these types of projects, such as placement of poles, realignment of the walkway pavers, accommodation of gates, and some minor defects. I was not easy on him, but he always responded professionally and constructively, which actually changed my mind on some ideas I had, which I think worked out better.Sam left my yard looking better than I expected it would look. He went the extra distance to make it look better, such as relaying pavers that had sunk and would have been an eye sore against the new fence.He and his crew were very tidy and cleaned up everything afterwards. They were on time every day. I personally observed Sam direct his crew and was impressed with his overall management style.I am satisfied with the work Sam provided and highly recommend him.
