Excellent ambiance & food. They use really fresh ingredients compared to other places. Love the Northern Italy twist considering most Italian-American restos focus on southern Italy cuisine. Will definitely return!

The place has a charm about it. It's put together with old fixtures but in good taste. The chairs are all different. You will not be disappointed with the food, no matter what you order it's delicious. The portions are big. The piece de resistance is when the owner/ chef comes out singing opera. Great atmosphere! Can't wait to go back!

Would recommend the ravioli (bolognese) and carbonara, both solid. Fantastic service in a comfortable and intimate dining room. Dinner comes with a show, as the chef is also an opera singer. I left my earphones at the restaurant and they called afterwards to notify me.

We loved the food here, the pasta was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The decor is unique and adds to the great atmosphere. The chef sang really well and it was a fun experience. Great restaurant, we will definitely be going back!

Best Ristorante Italiano I've ever been to in North America! The staff is friendly and considerate, and the food is exceptional. We ordered the Table d'Hôte (four-course meal) for two and the portion was just right. Every course was just right, and very well made.Totally recommend the Salmon Tartare as a starter, and the house cocktails are a fabulous apéritif!

What a wonderful night! The food is fantastic, everything was very fresh and flavourful. The tartare was particularly good (trust me guys I know my tartare!). We had a seat outside andit is such a charming and cozy place. I would love to go back and have a seat inside as well. As an added bonus the chef usually comes out to sing some opera at the end of the night (all casual like!). It used to be a BYOB but that changed during covid but they have a pretty decent wine list!

Lovely place for an authentic Italian experience, in the heart of Montreal's Little Italy! There's a spacious & breezy covered patio, where the chef Davide Bazzali occasionally comes out to sing opera. Service is friendly and attentive. There's an extensive selection of wines, including many private imports. I love that the menu includes several vegan options - the pesto gnocchi (29$) was very tasty, with many fresh veggies, and just the right portion size! The table d'hote (57$ for a soup/salad, appetizer, main, and dessert) would've been a good deal if we were hungrier. It's not cheap, but reasonable for the ambience, location, and quality of the food. Great place for date night or a low-key celebration.

Great service & lovely staff! The chef/opera singer was completely unexpected yet a Wonderful surprise that elevated the experience. The food was enjoyable, raviolis were very flavorful. Portions were well divided and filling.

We had table de hôte, that abled to try several different things.First off we were served with the bread …and oh my how delicious already that was. Soft from the inside and perfectly crispy from the outside.Appetizers - soup and salad- both were great: fresh, flavorful and light. Then after that we had salmon tartare and deep fried cod. Delicious! Both were great. For main course we decided to have the Toscana Ravioli and cod fillet. Here we might have made a mistake as we were not really aware of how strong the tomato sauce can be. On the cod I didn’t like it too much, just too overpowering for me. The gnocchi was delicious though! Loved it. It was a bit roasted and made in a somewhat special way.On the ravioli I didn’t like the tomato sauce too much either, I felt like it did dominate too much. Ravioli itself was good. Then, lastly, for dessert we had chocolate mousse and the semifreddo. Mousse was definitely decadent as our server warned, perfect to finish the meal. Semifreddo I liked probably more, little less intense. In small amounts both were delightful. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The chef gave a little performance as I was hoping so it made me especially glad, and later he found time to have a little chat with the people enjoying the food - including us!:)It was a lovely and memorable experience. I’m looking forward to introduce this place to my friends.

An amazing experience!! Visited Montreal last month; we decided last minute to grab a bite to eat in the area, and came upon this stunning restaurant. The decor was phenomenal - mismatched everything but kept to the same aesthetic, whether it be plates, cutlery, chairs, tables, wall decor, literally right down to the style of the branding!!! And the service was impeccable. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and often visited to refill our water. We were lucky enough to meet the chef and owner, who swung by our table to see how the food was tasting. He was also incredibly kind! This place will be a must-go every time I visit from here on. The food was masterly cooked, served in large portions, and was the best Italian food I’ve had in my life. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!
