Persistent. Timely. Excellence.These are three things you can expect from Gam and the Amplify crew. After the initial quotes, Gam was the only prospect that followed-up in a timely fashion. His friendly crew arrived early, explaining the work they were going to do. It was an overcast day, with high humidity, which made the drying of mortar between the brick, to take longer than usual. Amplify’s crew stayed on site, carefully adjusting the mortar, into the late afternoon. There was no extra charge for the additional time.I waited a week, before taking pictures of the completed work. I am happy with the results.

In October 2018, I hired Amplify to reconstruct our crumbling front porch. Our first project manager arranged for a contractor to form, pour and parge new concrete landings and steps. The workmanship was poor. A number of stairs weren’t level or sloped correctly, the edges of the landings weren’t straight and the finish was rough and, frankly, sloppy. Added to this, the driveway and interlocking were damaged by the work. I complained and after a long delay, the contractor returned to discuss how to fix the problems. However, he ended up quitting the job. Because it was by then too late in the season to do the work, I arranged with management to have the porch resurfaced and cleanup completed in the spring of 2019.After the first winter, the porch was discoloured and had spalled badly. I reconnected with Amplify in the spring of 2019 and they arranged to have a mason resurface the porch and clean the interlocking. I was still disappointed by the finish, especially after the sealer had been applied. Also, the interlocking was tarnished after acid washing and the driveway was never repaired. However, the structure of the steps had been improved (edges were sharper and no ponding) so I decided to live with the result.However, this year, the porch once again did not survive the winter intact. There was more spalling and cracks in multiple places. I got in touch once again to get the porch repaired. I was told that the form would be improved and that the porch would finally be given a proper finish. Nearly three months later, a contractor has attended once to correct the form and patch cracks. Many promises (and excuses) have been made but the spalled surface and ugly finish remains. Our experience with Amplify has been horrible. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs.

I shopped around for quotes and Amplify gave me a competitive price and I chose them because of Gevoni’s responsiveness and support along the way. I’m glad I did, because Bill & team did outstanding work and I will be using them again soon. Thanks guys

Amplify Masonry replaced damaged bricks and broken concrete and gave my 40 year old house a great start to the next 40 years! I am very careful about choosing contractors, and look for well established local businesses with strong reputation for quality. It was a pleasure to work with Gevani. The job was detailed and scheduled quickly, the masons were thorough and very neat. The price was competitive and fair. I'd certainly hire them again without hesitation. They are a company that really takes pride in quality and workmanship.

We hired Amplify to reconstruct our front steps. It was a disaster from the get go. The whole process took years. Now in 2023, our steps are completely falling apart. The cement is crumbling everywhere. Amplify has never contacted us to rectify the problem. Such a waste of time and money.(Follow up after Amplify's online response: 1)The reason I wasn't in their database is because the job was done under my partner's name. 2) They say they don't do cement work, but we posted on Homestars looking for companies to do the job we needed and THEY reached out to us about it. 3) They say I should reach out to them via email to rectify the problem. I have. No response. Anything that suggests they care about fixing their botched work is just for show.)

We hired amplify masonry to refacing our home with stone veneer. The crew was amazing. Showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. The guys were really respectful of my neighbours. Even took the time to explain to my son what they were doing. Great job guys def recommending you to all my neighbours who keep asking.

They did a commercial masonry repair project for us in Toronto. Team came as scheduled, secured the work area and made sure they kept the dust to a minimum. Highly recommend this company.

Amplify have done a great job with parging our backyard wall. We needed it done quick and they were accommodating, but did not sacrifice quality! We ended up with a beautiful looking wall that has already impressed our friends. We could not recommend them enough! Thank you so much for an amazing job.

There was structure damage at the front of my house. Bill and Chris came to help me resolve the issue. They were both extremely friendly and professional. They chose to go out of there way and provide me better service rather than just doing something for the sake of finishing the job. Overall I was really happy with the work.
