Had a bridesmaid dress done. The house was disgusting and smelt bad. She was incredibly rude and very unprofessional

Zero stars is not really an option, but i want to share my experience so that no other people are put into the awful situation that i was. I brought my beautiful grad dress to this woman about three months before my grad, she seemed extremely hesitant but only told me that it would be done on time. After about two months she finally brought me back for a fitting after missing the first THREE appointments i had scheduled with her; each time with no excuse, and she even thought it was funny. When i put it on for the fitting i was shocked to find that nothing i wanted had been done to it, and it looked trashed. Finally after me very persistently messaging her telling her i needed it done, i got my dress; the DAY before my grad. I was so relieved when it was picked up, but to my surprise when i put the dress on i quickly discovered that she had not done anything to my dress from the fist time except put a couple stitches in the bottom to shorten the dress. Beads were falling off everywhere, the things i asked for were not there, it was hanging off my body, and unwearable. Horrified with only one day before my graduation i had to bring it to another seamstress who did her best to pin all the hanging beads and make it fitted. I would not recommend this woman to anyone, it was an awful and extremely expensive experience, that quite honestly made my grad hell. I hope that no one else has to deal with an experience like this.

Went to get my grad dress altered and she did an amazing job! Such a kind lady and went above and beyond to help get my dress perfect and the way I wanted it. My dress had very complex glass shards on the front so it was difficult to do but she did a very good job and in a timely manner too, especially considering how many shards there were. Thank you so much Vicki! I just know my day will be special❤️❤️

Service was really good. Even though I gave mine and my friends dress for alteration at the last moment she had done an awesome job. So friendly..

The other reviews may have had bad experiences but mine was great. I had a wedding dress alteration and she did great. Very flexible hours, I dropped off Sunday and picked up Friday. Other reviews made me nervous but I was pleasantly surprised . Vicky knows what she is doing.

Vicky is just the best. She is a wizard at sewing. My daughter's dress came with an unlined bodice. Yes, it was totally see-through except at the bosom. Who does that? She isn't going to the beach. Anyway, Vicky took the loveliness and enhanced it by making it practical as well as lovely. She also knows everything about fancy occasions and gave such good advice to make grad smooth and successful, no dress mishaps. Very glad we have Vicky.

This is a home based business.The old lady just had knee surgery last week. I gaved her the stuff that needs to be stitched up and altered beginning of the week and she said it will be ready by Wednesday. I ended up calling her on Thursday to ask if it’s ready. I gave her one extra day since she is slow because of her knee surgery.However, she told me it won’t be ready until Friday. I called on Friday and she said only half of them were ready to pick up. She said it has to be picked up on Saturday. I feel sorry for the old lady but I personally think I won’t be coming back anymore since she is keep pushing the pick up day.I will rather go to the other side of Medicine Hat for Alternation.
