I was not aware of the significance regarding the Arrow. One of the Arrow test drones from the time period was recently found in lake Ontario. Now seeing one of the test pilots brings it full circle.

A very well-maintained little triangular"-shaped park with a famous fighter-jet model and pilot. Discovered it by chance during our drive down to Parry Sound from Ottawa. Nice kiosk and garden."

It is a small park but a great tribute to this Polish Canadian trailblazer instrumental to the success of the Avro Arrow ( Diefenbaker be darned!)Great place to sit down and enjoys some fries, see life go by and learn some history while you're at it.
