A charity founded on Sikh principles, but like Sikhism, not discriminating against anyone and welcomes all that require support. The staff and volunteers are of diverse backgrounds, they welcome service users in with love, and service users are supported throughout the entire process. They had a lot of food available, but as a food bank, they require regular donations. They put the needs of the service users and community first, and have a mighty impressive community kitchen. Their is a feeling of warmth when you visit.

I always get nice food and items from SevaButToday the person standing in reception said they cannot give food even though I had an appointmentHe said we don’t have much food to giveThey did not give a single piece of vegetables siting someIllogical issuesI appreciate everything but I came walking 30 min in snow and they have no consideration about human and using such word when they run a charity organizationWe don’t have much food also this time!!!!!!

Seva Food Bank
We visited the warehouse facility at one of the Mississauga locations along with around 20 colleagues from work. It was a a great opportunity to not only volunteer but also learn about the how the facility operates, the demand for food from mainly new immigrant families and the sheer size and scale of the overall operation in Mississauga including other non profits. Overall, great experience and would recommend volunteering at Seva! Great job guys!

I used to go there to do some volunteer work. We all should go to the places like this to feel how people struggle to manage their life. I also recommend to take our children, so that they also can feel the life and learn the kindness.
