I took the motorcycle course they offer (575$ with tax)Im not a fan of the instructor, in my opinion and others that took the course he was high while teaching, not positive Sat or Sun but Fri, he was high.If you ask questions you will be told you have an attitude problem and your interrupting , i asked for an example of attitude he couldn't give me one. i got in trouble for doing part of the safety check while sitting on the bike, at no point and time did he say not to sit on the bike during your check. The instructor also said I could quit right now and Todd and all of us taking the course would be screwed. He shouldn't be teaching in my opinion and at least 2 others that took the course have the same opinion.Says he doesn't get paid enough to give up his weekends and just does it for a hobby or because he likes to, told others at the course he does it for $ for his own bike .Also called me wonder kid to one of my friends who was observing. Name calling really? Act like a professional teacher or instructor, its your job! Sent us on our way at the end without providing us our certificates, had to go back for them!!!!Now for the bikes, none of them are road worthy, mine for example, inspection up 3-4 years ago, one of the blinkers was broke, front fork seals leaking (oil real good and safe for front brakes), cant go over 50% throttle it bogs and bucks because the carburetor needs to be cleaned. So in other words they don't really maintain the bikes, In my opinion proper maintenance is VERY VERY important for safety reasons and this is a safety course. I took this motorcycle safety course twice as a kid at the Marconi campus and i had fun, instructors very kind, patient and went threw EVERYTHING.I passed the McKenzie College course but honestly i hated my entire time there. Both girls taking the course wanted to quit dinner time day 1 on the bikes and honestly i wanted to quit too. Go to Marconi campus for the course, it was a good time unlike my experience at McKenzie, Marconi campus also has road's, stop signs ect that will be worked into your course, McKenzie has pylons that blow away and a cramped parking lot at the airport.(enough room to use 1st and 2nd gear)I give you a 2 out of 5 and your lucky i give you that.More........I was just at Access Nova Scotia, Tyler Macphee the instructor forgot to give us our certificate's as i said above, he also write my license valid for 30 days which is a total screw up, Access Nova Scotia tells me it is good for 12 months and write on it 12 months, to get your full license in 3 months of taking course you need to present both certificate and license paper. Tyler told us we just need the license paper for Access Nova Scotia and the certificate is to be presented to your insurance company which is not true......you need to present both to ANS and insurance.McKenzie College and the instructor needs to get on the ball and do things right!!!Im taking away another star because of ANS info
