Dr. Yoo was very good replacing my amalgam filling. My new filling feels perfect in my mouth and I felt safe with the precautions he took to protect me from the mercury gas in my filling.

I am very nervous. They always make me feel comfortable. And tell you all the options you have, re price etc. Would recommend.

I'm really happy I found Roots on Whyte. This is the best dentist office I've been to. They were kind, friendly, and accommodating. The receptionist Sammy is awesome and very helpful. Arsh made getting the x-rays efficient and simple. He also did a great job explaining the x-ray technology when I had questions.Hasiba and Tammy are excellent hygienists and I didn't feel any discomfort or pain at all. They did an excellent job. I also enjoyed speaking with them.Dr. Ruby did my checkup and it was great to meet her and hear what she had to say. I am grateful for her knowledge and care.All in all 100% for this place from me. Zero complaints. Stellar team here! I don't see any reason to go anywhere else.

Very pleasant experience overall. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm and friendly. They were very flexible with scheduling and managed to get me in sooner for an emergency as well as arrange appointments at the same time as other members of my family. This was very convenient. Dr. Ruby repaired several of my teeth in one visit. She was very gentle and did a great job. After that I had to have a tooth extraction with Dr. Yoo and he was amazing as well as his assistant Trina. My experience was much better than expected. I didn't experience any pain after the surgery and I healed well. This was very different from past experiences with other doctors. I also had a cleaning with Tammy. She was so wonderful, patient and careful and I appreciated the experience. Highly recommended!

Dr. Ruby Aujla is the best dentist I've had in a long time providing excellent care and explanations about choices. She seems to attract great assistants too, and my cleanings have been very satisfying. Front staff are always friendly and on top of things. I always leave in a good mood. They direct bill too. So much to appreciate about being a patient here.

In my search for a more holistic dentist in Edmonton, I found Roots on Whyte Dental. I had a few appointments there including an initial examination, x-rays, a couple fillings, and the removal and refilling of a mercury amalgam filling.I indicated on my intake form that I had TMJ issues/jaw pain, but during my appointment to get the fillings they expected me to hold my jaw open for an extended period of time and even when my jaw was shaking due to fatigue and I said I was in pain I was met with anger and told I needed to hold my mouth open wider. It wasn’t until they were almost done that they put something between my back teeth to hold my jaw open. They acted like it was a burden to them to provide me with help and pain relief.I have no idea how they can claim to be holistic when fluoride and root canals were both brought up in my appointment. Holistic means you take a persons whole body into account when you provide them with treatment, and fluoride and root canals are both proven to have negative effects on the body as a whole.My dentist also tried to shame me into getting braces even when I told her it wasn’t currently financially feasible for me. Overall the dentist and hygienist/assistant were rude, cold and had no compassion, empathy, or bedside manner.Then, once I decided I would not be coming back, the issues with this clinic continued. I called multiple times during business hours because I wanted to have my x-ray images sent to a new dentist so I didn’t have to pay to get new ones done. The first day I called I left a message and did receive a call back, but it was while I was working and I wasn’t able to answer the call. I called back multiple times during business hours, left multiple messages, and never got through to anyone or received a call back. When I went to the appointment at my new dentist I explained the situation and asked if they could try to get through. They were also unable to get ahold of anyone and didn’t receive a call back.I have had negative experiences with dentists in the past which lead me to seek out a holistic approach. It was extremely disappointing that the dentist that claimed they were holistic was actually the worst experience I ever had.I would never recommend this clinic or go back as a patient. I also hope they stop claiming to be something they are not.

Tammy does a great job cleaning our teeth. She is very personable and efficient. She is very thorough and the cleaning is without any pain or discomfort. My wife looks forward to her cleaning appointments with her. When needed, she provides helpful tips to improve our flossing and brushing.

Just finished my last appointment for 3 ceramic implants. The only dentist in Alberta to do implants without metal posts. Dr. Woo is a magician. He works quickly, and the price was the price, about 1/3 more than regular steel post implants but healed super fast and I won't react to them down the road. Precision work, and a staff that is nice beyond words. I never thought I'd be able to get implants with my anxiety and bank account, but these guys made it work. This dental office is definitely from the future! I wish I found them sooner, fair prices, amazing services, amazing staff. World class and affordable.
