Kevin and his team were very professional and honest. Kevin is straight forward and assessed our poorly installed roof quite well. He did not try to up sell us on products that we did not need. He layed out available options and was well informed about the pros and cons of each option. He even explained the option of 'doing nothing' and explained to us the benefits of NOT getting a new roof installed...which almost no private contractors will do.I highly recommend Kevin and Komo Roofing. They installed an exceptional roof in two days with no visible damage to the yard (except flattened grass that has since popped bright back up), no complaints from the neighbors, no damage to the house and gutters and zero residual materials left onsite. You'd be foolish not to use Kevin and Komo!

At first I had trouble believing all of the great reviews that I was reading about Komo roofing. But I gave Kevin a call and didn’t regret it. He was responsive, professional and friendly. Kevin came by within 24 hours, gave me the best quote of any company that I called, and had a mason come by within a few days to repoint my chimney. Not only did they do a great job, but they put up safety equipment so the workers were safe and I felt comfortable. Probably the best thing about the experience was that Kevin and his two workers were really nice people to each other and to me. Boris the mason did a thorough, first rate job on the chimney. It looks like new. He took the time to do it right. They also added a bit of caulking and fixed a few pieces of flashing that needed fastening as a courtesy and didn’t ask for any more money on top of their modest fee. I really was impressed and would hire them again in a heart beat. Highly recommended.

Great experience with Komo in replacing our roof! Kevin provided a detailed quote which was competitive against the other four we received. He walked us through the different items/options and didn't try to push any unnecessary extras.The job started on the agreed date and was completed in 2 and a half days. Good communication throughout. The installers (David & team) were friendly and knowledgeable. They did a good job of tidying the site each day and took care to protect the neighbours houses. When rotted pieces of plywood were discovered they did a good job of documenting it with photos and replacing it at the agreed unit rate. The overall quality of the work seemed evident. We would recommend them.

I was asked by our strata to organize roofer services for moss removal, exterior gutter cleaning and sealing of leaks. The job was given to Komo Roofing, owned and operated by Kevin Luethi. Kevin is very knowledgeable and took the time to respond to my questions. During the initial walk-about he observed potential problem areas on the roof. Kevin offered options and we agreed on a plan that best suited our needs.The roofing crew was courteous, diligent, and provided quality work. The crew noticed that moisture was collecting outside of the dryer vent along with a lot of lint. They took pictures, explained the problem and efficiently repaired without delay.Once the work was completed Kevin provided a detailed description of the work done, materials used and associated costs. The final cost was reasonable.Kevin went the extra mile and provided referrals for replacement of our gutters and advised on upkeep of the roof. Any repairs related to the home can be a stressful endeavor. But having dealt with Kevin and his team, I can confidently recommend Komo Roofing to anyone who is looking for roof work. I found Kevin to be a straight shooter. No BS'ing around. He's understanding and accommodating if you have budget constraints, but also won't compromise on quality and what needs to be done for the job to be completed safely and properly. My family never once had to chase them for answers or stress about whether or not they would arrive on time. The project was completed within the promised time, no unexpected surprises, all within budget. Can't really ask for anything more, right? I know the industry can get a bad reputation where one has to filter through a mine field of options, only to feel like you might be taking a gamble on the company you've hired. I needed a skylight taken out and put back to install a blind for the skylight and with a roof pitch of 12/12 we needed an experienced roofer. Kevin was able to take the very difficult job on and him and his team were great. On time, professional, skilled. Kevin always kept in touch throughout the whole job as well as after. If i ever need anything done to my roof i will definitely be calling Komo roofing

Komo responded to our leaky roof in the midst of the rainiest fall on record, starting with an emergency patch. They kept us informed as they dealt with an industry backlog complicated by unavoidable rain delays. When they came on site their work was fast, professional and tidy. Our house is close to others yet our neighbours commented on how professional Komo was, informing them about activity, protecting their landscaping and cleaning up any debris. We would not hesitate to recommend Komo!
