Would not recommend this store. They treat younger customers horribly with zero respect.I walked in looking for supplies and was acknowledged till 5 min later, and the lady at the front counter yelled, Can I help you as if I am not supposed to be there. Every other customer was treated nicely and spoke to in a proper tone besides me. It's not what you say it's how you say it"

Did a walk in after dealing with another CPAP provider, and wow was I blown away. Daniel Hill answered all my questions (and even answered some I was not even aware I had) perfectly. Would def recommend this location (Daniel Hill !) for any CPAP related needs.

My 76 yr old mother went to the Whitby Wellwise to get a couple of products for my 75yr old father after he was discharged early from the hospital after having major heart surgery, as he can’t stand to shower or bath.She left with a chair assured it would work and be suitable for him. Yesterday I went to assemble it and saw that it would be way too big for the tub. It’s “final sale” even though it is still in the box.Went to the store yesterday the sales person remembered my mother. I asked why she told & sold her a product that wouldn’t fit in a normal sized tub. Her response was ‘it wasn’t her fault that my mother should have measured the tub.” Then “why did u sell her the product if she didn’t have the measurements? “she just shrugged her shoulders “its not my fault”Its a Sunday afternoon in a pandemic with covid-19 so my options are limited. I ordered something earlier on line but need something so he can shower until the on-line order arrives. So I am stuck getting something from Wellwise that day.When looking at other products the staff couldn’t help. Not sure if it was her first day, she didn’t know the products, felt like I was at a kiosk at the mall. After reading the product boxes & descriptions my self I still had questions. She just gave me shoulder shrugs, “not sure” and just re-read the box contents to me? ThanksThen speaking to the supervisor/manager I told her I wanted to return the product my mother had purchased. I was informed that I couldn’t as it was final sale. Informed her that her staff sold the product to my mother and assured her it would be satisfactory.“ Doesn’t matter you can’t return it”“You are saying your staff suggested it but you won’t refund it?”“Doesn’t matter we are not refunding it”Today I have read the other reviews and agree with what I read.“irresponsible”, “poorly managed”,“taking advantage of elderly”“staff had no knowledge of products”“lazy”“No knowledge of their own products”“No answers..Just sighs to questions’‘Feel like I’m talking to a wall”Customer service at a dollar store shows more care and is more emotionally involved than these two individuals were. The whole experience left me disgusted & sickened.And Wellwise don’t post your stupid comment below this saying you’re sorry, that ‘customer experience and satisfaction as our priority’ blah blah. You don’t care. Your website says “Our purpose is to empower Canadians to age with strength, determination & passion.” Should say “Our purpose is to rip off elderly disabled individuals one transaction at a time with incompetence”

Lots of new staff in the store. Service is friendly and a bit slow, however the new manager is apologetic. At least they are greeting every customer and trying their best to help. I have no problem with waiting an extra few minutes for the employees to find the answer. Good job and thank you for your help.

I just had the most outstanding service and help from Susan today, I was struggling because I needed an arm sling and I couldn't find it, but Susan helped immediately, Besides giving me caring, personal, warm and practical advice, with a smile, she also helped me put it on, which was a challenge with my damaged shoulder /arm. If you visit here I do hope that you are helped by Susan, my pain is not as bad. Awesome service, thank you Susan.

A family friend was going thru some challenges with their diagnosis and I went into your location to get some items to help them out. It was so refreshing to have people who care and take an interest in your situation. There were two staff - Carry and a young man and between the two of them they were outstanding. It isnt always about just getting you the help you need it is also about compassion and these employees truly had compassion. That isnt easy to find these days.

This store has amazing customer service! I was having issues with my CPAP mask and Daniel Hill (CPAP Consultant) was able to diagnose and provide different options that could help me sleep better at night. Daniel was very knowledgeable, professional and took the time to answer all my questions. Thanks Daniel!

This company has not rectified an issue with missing products for 3 months. We have 2 boxes of medical supplies delivered monthly. They didn't deliver anything for about 5 months and our products are covered but we didn't get them. Apparently they forgot they delivered our orders and rectified the situation but we're missing products in the order. So I called several times not getting any answer finally got an answer they said that they would rectify the situation as they didn't have that product(months worth) in store at the time. Again delivered our order the next month without the products. called several times & they said they would find a substitute brand. Again delivered it without the product and again the next month the same thing. I've spoken to the management and staff several times which takes a while to get through to somebody.Who has a time to be on the phone with one company with no answering service to leave a message. We have many medical issues we're dealing with and it's a full-time job at times getting appointments arranged let alone having to phone the same people continually. I seriously wonder why they can't rectify this issue or at least let me know what's going on. No one ever calls me back either. It's crazy being this is what the store sells...not like Walmart..they literally specialize in providing medical supplies.
