Excellent! I went as a model for a dermaplaning course and it was a lovely experience all around. Everyone was super friendly and the space was extremely clean. Also extremely happy with my service. I will be back. ❤️

I recently graduated from this school's full time Esthetics program, and I'm currently enrolled in their Laser Practitioner program. My time at the school has been filled with knowledge, fun, and lots of practice. My two teachers, Robin and Janelle, were wonderful. They are both very knowledgeable, understanding, and enjoyable. Robin's history and knowledge in the Esthetics field is admirable and she is truly an outstanding teacher. During this program I met some lifelong friends and had some wonderful interactions with very supportive clients and educators. I'm set up and ready to begin my journey in Esthetics and continue my education. Thank you IAE.

Amazing school. I took the laser tech program there and I loved it there. The environment there is so welcoming and comfortable. My teachers Britney and Robin were so amazing and definitely made class better, they both were always accessible to talk to no matter the time of day to answer questions and help and made class a stress free environment and always amazing to talk to and by far the best teachers I’ve had. And the main person of IAE Cynthia is always so welcoming and sweet and always strives for every person taking the courses to succeed. I felt I got a great education and a great understanding of the courses and finished the program with a great out look of things. I totally recommend this school if your interested in cosmetics

I’m a former student who just graduated, I cannot express how loving and welcoming everyone was, attending the school was an amazing experience. The course is a fast pace course but with the guidance of my teachers and former classmates it made every moment spent here worth it. I had an accident in January 2023 where I needed surgery and had to take off 5 weeks, it was definitely a set back but the school was very accommodating to my issue, they did everything possibly to help me graduate. If you are planing on taking a course like this, this is the school to go to!!!

The person that did my nails was super nice. But when I booked the appointment I was not aware there was a $20 fee to remove my old polish. Any salon I have gone to get my polish changed does not charge that fee. So that was a shock when I went to pay.Also normally my gel manicures last minimum 2 weeks. My polish was already chipping and peeling after less than a week.

As a 2021 graduate of IAE, I would like to share my experience here. I’d like to begin by thanking Britt, Cynthia, Robin, Katie, Janelle, and Sylvia, for being such understanding and welcoming instructors and putting my class, and our educations first. I enrolled in both the full-time esthetics and the laser program. Throughout both of these programs, I continually felt confident in what I was being taught, and if for whatever reason I didn’t, I felt more than comfortable to reach out to any of the instructors for help, clarification, or a confidence boost in my developing skills. Not only could we reach out in school, but they made themselves available outside of school as well, again showing their dedication and attentiveness to our success. While in school, I had a very busy and stressful personal life, and the staff at IAE were MORE than understanding of this. While they made me very aware and held me accountable for my attendance, they also were compassionate, caring, and understanding about my situation. A few of the staff even opened themselves up for me to be able to explain my situation so that they could support me in any way they could. In my opinion, the staff goes ABOVE AND BEYOND, to show their care for not only your education, but you as a person. Due to my personal life, my attendance suffered a bit. However, due to the instructors dedication to help me succeed, I NEVER felt as if I had to “conduct my own education” here. Yes, the instructors want you to succeed, but just like anything else, you must put in the effort yourself. Sometimes I had to put in extra effort to catch up, but the entire time I felt completely supported with all of the help I may need. IAE teaches a very wide range of services, many that aren’t taught at other schools. Since graduating, I have had many job interviews, AND been offered at least 6+ full-time positions. At my spa, and at most interviews I have had, spa owners have been surprised at and VERY pleased with the array of treatments I’ve been trained in, as well as different techniques, and most of all, TIMING. I’ve come to learn timing is very important in this industry, and spa owners have been shocked and estatic over how effectively and efficiently I was able to service clients, and so fresh out of school. I’ve also come to learn that in esthetics, there are SO many different techniques and methods. Having multiple experienced instructors at IAE is definitely an advantage. This made for tons of different ways to learn different techniques and skills, as esthetics isn’t always black and white, and everyone eventually finds their own style. While IAE isn’t perfect, I found that they did amazing with what they could, and my education did not suffer in any way. During my semester, they had one instructor leave to pursue other opportunities, and almost immediately, they found a replacement, ensuring that our educations were taken care of. Sadly, I attended IAE during the pandemic. Due to this, there were some struggles with social distancing, hands on/in person learning, and communication with ITEC (as they are based outside of Canada). However, staff once again, went above and beyond to combat these issues for us and our learning. This included the intergration of online learning, supply of tons of covid PPE and covid protocols, working with ITEC as best as possible to ensure everything ran smoothly for our exams, and even during the month of May (when we were shut down for a month straight due to quarantine), sending us home with products and supplies for us continue to service those within our home to keep up with our skill development!!! Unfortunately, my class was a bit larger and I think a smaller class would have enabled more one-on-one learning. Despite it all, they still went above and beyond to lead us to success. I loved my experience here, and you will too! You will gain INCREDIBLE theory AND practical skills. Here I made lifelong friends, and to this day, still communicate with staff on a personal and professional level regarding all esthetics. THANK YOU IAE!!

Well, I called to book an appt for my 10 year old daughter for a manicure/ pedicure I purchased via Groupon, I wish they would have stated that it's only on Thursdays and Friday during the day, kinda sucks as my daughter is still in school and I wanted to have a father/daughter kinda day.I found the lady over the phone a bit short as well, like I was bothering her.My 2 cents though. I guess I'd do a refund and go else where.

I recently finished my laser program at IAE and finished my esthetics program at the end of August. I really enjoyed myself during both programs. They were well organized and full of fun/interesting information. I learned so much during both these programs and have all of my instructors to thank. You guys were truly wonderful and helped me start my esthetics/laser journey. Thank you IAE:)
